Are you serious? I even made sure to correct the hashtags.

Separating himself from the crowd of those streaming off of the plane, Arrya idled about the public airspace for a couple seconds more, blue eyes latched onto a nearby concessions stand. Reluctantly, the middle-aged man tore his gaze away after a couple of seconds, recognizing that there was a task at hand, and he was getting side-tracked by trivial things. He was here on business, not to catch a bite. Turning away, Arrya headed down a nearby stairwell, walking towards the baggage claim, where his luggage would presumably be waiting.

[Is this good?]

[Yep.] Your eyes dart around the conveyor, attempting to #### ### your bland luggage. After a while you finally spot it moving along the tracks, which you grab as it passes you. After exiting the small airport, you look at the busy streets of Northridge, the lovely city that it's always been. Now to find a driver who's willing to take you to the Institution.

Taxi etiquette, oh boy, not one of Arrya's strong suits. The tall man looked about, straining to pinpoint the empty cabs, and possibly hail one down. He took a step into the street, before raising his left hand into the air. "Taxi!" The man yelled out, the limb waving about wildly. Worst case scenario, he could always take out his cell and call the service himself for a personal taxicab.

As of now, your luck is pretty good. A taxi driver stops right by you, waving his hand and calling you. He appears to be a young man with light-brown, shaggy hair, blue eyes, and round glasses. Now's not the time for detailed explanation of a stranger's appearance, however. You enter the cab and tell him your destination, and the car starts moving.

Just as you two depart, he says 'So, the Institution, huh? You work there or something?'.

"Mhm," Arrya answered vaugely, after climbing into the vehicle. Hauling his luggage into the space besides him, the man awkwardly folded his legs beneath him before putting his bag into his lap. It was an uncomfortable position, but the cab wasn't exactly build for a man with giraffe legs. "Provided we get there in X am, I'll double your pay."

[Inserted X as I'm not sure how far the Institute is from the Airport. Jut assume Arrya is saying he'll pay double if they get there in about half the time it would take to get there normally.]

[Alright, that's cool. I'll have to work out a distance so it's easier. It's generally quite far though.]

"Sure thing," the man says. Since you don't have much else to do, you stare aimlessly out the window and watch planes land at the runway as you drive away from the airport, thinking about the 'discovery'. Something bad must've happened. You'll just have to wait until you get there to see whatever it is, though.

Should we timeskip to arriving at the place? Arrya can't really do much in the cab, since he nixed a conversation with the cabbie. Not that staring out the window isn't fascinating and all, :p. Unless there's an even t that is going to happen en route? ]

[Nah, we'll skip. Stuff doesn't start happening until the disease reaches international levels ;)

Okay, act out arriving at the Institution's main hall.]

When the cab slowed down to a crawl, Arrya pulled out his wallet.Peeking over the driver's arms, he mentally noted the py, and then doubled it in his head. Counting out the correct amount, Arrya scarcely said a word to the young fellow as passed him the bills, before exiting the vehicle, and onto the sidewalk leading up to the institution.

The glamorous hall is very large and stands out quite a bit from the average financial buildings in the vicinity. You walk up the stairs to a big wooden door with a large, posh, expensive-looking clock hanging above. After pushing the door open slowly, the busy structure is revealed to you. Scientists of all kinds are everywhere, studying and writing little notes down in their notepads and clipboards.

Your office, which is where your colleague told you to meet him, isn't far from here. You walk down the main hallway, greeting acquaintances and friends you're familiar with, making intricate turns left and right in order to reach your office. Finally, you reach the end. Black, bold letters reading 'Dr. Arrya Mills' are on the glass pane at the top area of your door.

Time to see what's going on.

Without hesitation, Arrya pushed open the door to his office, and walked through, luggage in hand.

[idk what else to post here, you did the meet n' greets for me. ;p]

As the creaky door swings open, you see your colleague, Dr. Madison, a young woman, sitting at your desk on your computer. Her face lights up as soon as you enter the room.

"Ah, you're here. You need to look at this."

You take a chair and pull up beside her, looking at the monitor. What is shown on the screen is a simulated bacterial microorganism, with small tendrils creeping off the sides and writhing around. It has a disgusting, sickly green hue to it and, according to charts, graphics, and data shown on the left-hand side of the screen, it's a very large bacteria. It's also unnamed.

Dr. Madison begins to explain.

"A doctor in Colombia discovered this organism inside of a patient during a check-up. We're not sure of the full genetic structure, but from what we can see the multitude of symptoms are certainly not pleasant ones."

[This is the part where you ask lots of questions regarding the bacteria. :P]

Arrya digested this latest information in with a straight face, thoughtfully mulling over the development. He took his time studying the computer screen, silently comparing the bacteria to a spider, with all it's waving tentacles and such. Although, spiders weren't normally such a vivid green. "Alright," the man said, during back towards Doctor Madison. "I'll need every bit of data you have on this thing. Transmission, symptoms, incubation, mortality, and whatever else your lab hounds can scrounge up, you got it?"

Doctor Madison listens to your instructions and nods her head with a worrying look on her face. After she set out the door, you quickly sit down in the chair and look at the data and statistics, attempting to come up with a name for the spider-like organism. Just from sheer knowledge, you are aware that the bacterium uses the tendrils to propel itself through the blood system. Like E. Coli.

From what you could #### #### it's a very strong organism. Usually bacteria must breed and duplicate in the immune system without being detected by body cells. When there's a very large population of them, they make their move. But, as said before, this is one of the largest bacteria discovered so far, and a single organism can take out the immune system's strongest cells, such as ########### and killer T cells. Antibodies are even useless against this thing.
