I learn best by reading open sourced code and what have you. I would classify myself as at least intermediate so I don't want beginner stuff. Any suggestions/recommendations for Robloxians or projects, etc that are good examples to follow and learn from? I'm not really looking for how to manipulate Lua (I can check PIL for that), but rather any cool projects, examples, or ppl I can learn a few things from.
I know this is a broad question, but hopefully that allows a plethora of answers! |

I'm looking for stuff I nvr seen before so the approved models aren't really what I'm looking for (they rarely have scripting either).
I would personally classify Peasfactory as beginner stuff (nor do I think it covers much that PIL doesn't).
I'm looking for stuff like stravants IK place, magic mirror by nice mike, silence by venvious, etc. It doesn't have to be a uncopylocked place file but these are examples off the top of my head... |

Sigh... clearly I wasn't clear enough with the question...
This is like pulling teeth. Nvm, I'm sure I'll stumble across stuff as time goes on. |

| Thanks Amanda! That's the type of thing I was looking for. I've seen some of those before, but not all of them. Awesome, I wasn't expecting full wiki stuff so that's a bonus. Awesome! |

You won't learn a lot about Lua from egomoose.

That's not to take anything away from him though. He's an amazing mathematician.

Kodran is right, I've recently been using his articles to better express math in terms of equations and their practical uses on ROBLOX.
However, if you are trying to make ROBLOX seem more alive and realistic(i.e. not linear), then reading and practicing everything in those articles will help you become more innovative.
My opinion though, they sure helped me a lot. |

@kodran
I have programming experience from elsewhere so lua has been pretty easy/fast to pick up so far. The only thing I get a bit uncomfortable with are metatables. Based on the stuff I looked at in those articles he mainly seems to use them for a very simple object oriented style which I can follow. So assuming I can withstand the math and other logical concepts I should be able to follow, but I don't think lua will be a barrier.
As a side note if you know any good metatable guides other than PIL (preferably written) I'm all ears :) |

if youre not an alt then by yourself if you are a beginner scripter you want to learn off of others
then just get good grades in math classes and put effort into doing what you want and if you care enough you will be able to do advanced things |
