I found out a couple of years ago that the new principal of my elementary school got the Philadelphia Eagles to build a state of the art playground. Along with Chip Kelly, Lesean McCoy, and I think Brandon Boykin.
Long story short, we didn't have a playground, just hard concrete and two hand me down basketball courts. Lets just say students that went before 2014 got legitimately screwed over. The school and staff are 100x better. |

our elementary principle won principle of the year 2 years after I moved on.
the year she won it, the school was ranked 7th/8th in the county, with the lowest test scores in the state.
Come to find out her husband is the mayor of the city gg

Dude. It seems like RIGHT after I left for junior high, the elementary school progressed. It looks amazing.
I could've met some of the Eagles... |

On another note, I used to go to a pretty respectable junior high back in the day (I live right next to it)
After I graduated from there it apparently went to complete and utter crap, and some of the things that have happened there (particularily in 2010-11) are totally absurd. |

Cap. My school was the complete opposite. Staff was terrible, school looked terrible from the outside. Playground was literally an open space full of concrete. If you fell down, good luck.
Once the new principal got hired. It changed drastically. (Old one retired) |

I was so livid that day, I dropped everything, put some pants on, got my shoes and ran over there. It was all done.
It's a short walking distance. They were building it under my nose smh |

| My experience with elementary before/after was much of the same except it wasn't that bad, and it happened when my final year of elementary started instead of after I left elementary. Arguably the worst teacher in the school (if not the entire city, seriously) retired, the principal who was regarded as an ###### by the majority of parents also retired, and another particularly bad teacher suddenly became one of the better teachers there. Rumor has it that this happened because she quit using ###### |

oh wow, the forums censor me now?
they obviously don't want to hear about the events of 2010-11 from my old junior high right after I went into HS. |

@ eelee
2005 and 2008, a while before I became a high school student. Was also ranked #2 in 2014 which was after I graduated. |

| ############# it, i have my ########## now, might as well share what happened in 2010-11 in the ### next to where I live. There was the not-so-serious but still absurd school social stuff, such as the "popular 9th grade kids" table being taken over by 7th graders. (grades 7-9 is junior high where I live) It quickly turned into more serious issues. One teacher died from a heart attack and another one nearly died from pneumonia, all in the span of a month. Just when people thought things couldn't get worse, one of the 7th graders was discovered to be a child ############################################## after somebody got busted banging her at a hotel room at the West Edmonton Mall. |
