| I am currently developing a game where the player explores dungeons collects treasures and faces trials to get better weapons and other things at the end. I am not a very strong scripter but the game seems to be going well without using scripting and of course some scripting will be used but I want to know what you think about it. I will tell you what the players first items are. You start with a sword and bombs. You will land in a strange world where people seem to be wiped out (besides the other players). There is hidden lore all over the dungeons and secrets that will unfold the story(I don't want to spoil them here!). You will use the sword for defense against strange enemies and the use for the bombs will be for the player to find dungeons. What you will do with the bombs to find the dungeons is when you come across a suspicious wall or some fallen boulders or anything that looks strange. You can use your bombs to blow the terrain away bit by bit to discover a dungeon. The dungeons will have lots of different things hidden inside which will reveal the story, help you defend yourself better, or even let you explore someplace you couldn't before because you didn't have what you needed. There will be lots of familiar easter eggs from other things and some will be VERY noticeable and some things will even be part of the lore. If your reading this please don't hesitate to reply what you think about it. Is there something I should add? Any suggestions? All in the replies. Thanks for reading! |
