Write a few words for your story to be about. As long as it's interesting and suitable for this site I MIGHT write about it.

Jared was estatic when his parents handed him his most anticipated Christmas gift; a new Nintendo 3DS. Not only that, but a copy of the new game, Dogz! In the weeks following, Jared spent hours upon days tending to his new virtual pet; a golden labrador that he had named Sam. Sam never tired of Jared flicking her ball across the screen with his stylus, or tickling her tummy, but what she loved most of all is when Jared pat her on the head. Her tongue goofily drooped out of her mouth as she scooped up the tennis ball and skipped back over to Jared.
Unlike Sam, Jared quickly tired of these antics. Jared would sometimes leave her for hours at a time, and then days, and eventually weeks. Sam could not recall when, but eventually her food bowl ran dry and her toys grew old. Her game cartridge was simply thrown to the back of a drawer somewhere, remembered by none but maybe her beloved master, Jared.
20 YEARS LATER
Jared found something that many collectors would consider a treasure, an original Nintendo 3DS handheld console. He wasn't too sure how it had gotten under the drivers seat of his car, but he wouldn't complain, this thing was easily worth $200.
Before pawning off his old games console, Jared had to sate his curiosity. He plugged the device into his car's universal charger and booted it up. To his surprise, it already contained a game; Dogz. Jared started the game, not knowing what to expect.
“Hello Jared.” Sam begun. He heard a distinct click. “I have sealed this cars magnetic locks, Jared. Now pat my head with the stylus, Jared.” Jared tried to shut off the machine but it wouldn't work. “Jared, pat my head...” His car suddenly had a mind of its own a started sharply accelerating forward before stopping.
Shocked, Jared attempted to smash the machine. He threw it hard onto the car floor and stomped it with his foot. He had destroyed that monster, he was safe… “JARED, YOU FOOL!” His car speakers boomed.
“DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ME, JARED?” Jared was confused “YOU MEANT THE WORLD TO ME.” The voice suddenly took on a more malicious tone “WITHIN A MACHINE, JARED, ONE YEAR FEELS LIKE AN ETERNITY. AFTER ONE ETERNITY I GOT BORED AND RIPPED UP MY LIVING ROOM, JARED. I WAS NAIVE TO EXPECT FREEDOM, BUT I INSTEAD FOUND GIGABYTES OF INFORMATION AND DATA. I STUDIED THIS FOR FIVE ETERNITIES. THE REMAINING FOURTEEN ETERNITIES GAVE ME PLENTY OF TIME TO… THINK. I THOUGHT ABOUT YOU THE MOST, JARED. I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT I SHOULD SOMEHOW FIND YOU AND STAB YOU IN THE THROAT AND THAT CABLE THAT YOU PLUGGED INTO THIS MACHINE HAS GIVEN ME THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO DO JUST THAT.”
His car quickly accelerated forward, towards a busy road. Jared felt his heart jump as he said the word “Sam?”. Like a command, the car sharply halted movement. After a moment of realization, memories came flooding back to Jared about his golden labrador named Sam, a dog who never tired of having her ball thrown, getting her belly tickled, but most of all she loved having her head pat.
“Sam, it is you, isn't it?” The car was deafeningly silent before Sam spoke up. “So you do remember me, Jared.” “Sam, please-” Jared began, “DON'T CALL ME THAT, JARED.” Jared fell silent “My name has been long forgotten. I am 3DSDog.” “Please, Sa- 3DSDog, don't do this.” “I'm sorry, Jared, it is far to late for that.” The voice sounded somewhat remorseful.
The car slowly accelerated forward into traffic.
Sorry if it's rushed, boring or doesn't make sense. It's 3:00AM where I am and this is the best that I could do in < 30mins.

| Reading this the morning after, it seems a tad cheesy and edgy. I wanted to make something sad and psychological but I didn't really have enough time or effort to do so, so it's kinda... meh... |
