basic ideas and stuff, fleshing out (working on when finished with paint.java, for the next 4 years)

Renderer: Vulkan-based, Linux-exclusive (Built-in support for X and Mir) Spits out a shell script and an executable, or just a plain old elf.
Supported architectures: Intel 64 versions of Linux only.
Viewpoints: 3D only, (Technically also supports 2.5D)
Render type: Bundled Raycast (*NOT* scanline), Renderer by default takes 32 samples before outputting to screen.
Language support: Custom scripting language inspired by Lua, "SolarScript", C++, C. SolarScript runs on top of a virtual machine built-in to game runtime. Built-in script editor compiles to bytecode without requiring the rest of the game (save for custom objects) to be compiled first. Intended to communicate with C++. Scripting intended for non-time-critical components. SolarScript is object-oriented.

How it (will) works:
Lists all required components by the game, spits out an executable including only what is necessary in the game. (Unity/JMonkey-like).

Mesh rendering:
Custom format, sort of XML-like. Meshes are grouped into units where they are assigned a Material based on some settings.

ahh i cant focus on my paint programmmm

i never said I was working on a game engine since 2013 lol
i was working on one for Windows, but couldn't find explicitly where Microsoft talked about legal thises and thats with how to communicate with Windows without being a "derived work".

That was in 2014 and that was to use DirectX.

(Yes, I've already considered application development for Windows. No, I won't do it because without asking anything of Microsoft, they won't cooperate... more accurately I'm not willing to do whatever it takes to have them cooperate.)
