New tool idea, do not cross tape and proof it's approved by the Secret Service Director, Sazux.
[9:44:06 PM] Zerovanix: sazux [9:44:24 PM] Zerovanix: can you approve this so I can ask luke to make a bill [9:44:25 PM] Zerovanix: Tool: "Do not cross" tape.
Reason why SS needs it: Secret Service is a unique agency and it doesn't have time for people who keep bothering them and accuse them of false arrests, beside that SS needs it for more security, and we can save the "Spike Strips" for cars that attempt to take the VIP down while there is an escort.
Idea of using it: This tool will only be used in houses and places that SS takes over when the VIP is in a building, such as the "Firestation", it will be the replacement of spikes so SS can use their spikes for more useful things like car bombs. The only way to go through the tape is by either jumping over it or walk from the sides.
[9:45:11 PM] Secret Service Director | Sazux / Samuel: Yesss. [9:45:12 PM] Secret Service Director | Sazux / Samuel: approved

| The Firestation is a temporary basis. A SS HQ is in development. |

@Kolibob I suggested that it is only given to SS because some other agencies might have unprofessional agents who will abuse the tool.

I will be requesting the use of the do not cross tape for the United States Marshals Service, not least because our duties involve the retrieval of fugitives in high-risk situations, we would need the ability to place this tape around a property while we breach, or in a crime scene.
Moreover, the USMS is tasked with judiciary protection, this means the protection of those in our care such as Federal Judges. As such, we are required to use similar - albeit less overwhelming - tactics to ensure our protectees' safety, and this tool would valuable in helping to do so.
I also believe that other law enforcement teams such as the LVPD and SWAT may benefit from having this tool, but it's not my responsibility to request tools for them.
Finally, I do think some reconsideration is required about the tools we have as law enforcement, personally (and again I can't speak for other agencies), the USMS tool-bar is completely full. As it is, the M9 pistol I have gets replaced by my carspawner, and I have to leave my 0 spot open for the car-key tool. Every tool we have on our hot-keys bar is absolutely necessary, whether it be the TAR-21, spike strip, or door opener. Maybe it might be time to consider making multipurpose tools, e.g. combining spikes and this new tape? |

Dear jetpackboy,
When this is passed, all departments/ agencies will be able to request this tool. Then, the LVCC will vote on this
