NOW I REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had to read How to kill a Mockingbird.
Worst book i've ever read, it's socially and racially discriminating and totally unethical in today's standards. The world has flip-flopped, it is no longer the ones of the many winning but the ones of the few who continue to suppress us as weak.

It does show correct social development for the time period it was wrote, however when teachers today try to use the same book and conclude it's teachings in today's time period it is extremely incorrect and completely opposite of today's affect.

Please don't tell me you actually believe any symbols in that book can relate to the previous moment in time.
That's completely false as the book is flipped in today's standards.

Well seeing as racial issues are a problem I feel the entire court case and eventual outcome in prison speak to a discussion that has been in the works for a long time about race and the legal system
As a result of this racial tension I feel the children of today lose their innocence, as scout does, throughout the course of it |

They don't lose their "innocence", in today's standards you're likely to find them without any when they're born.

which speaks to the point of the novel
the fact that this is such a problem in american youth is why we need to appreciate the value of innocence and try to protect it |
