1. roblox is a private business, not a government 2. freedom of speech does not protect your opinions from being criticized 3. using it as an excuse to spew hate speech is a bastardization of free speech |

Lol
Yeah I hate it when people try to fancy themselves as lawyers and say "muh first amendment", when they don't even realize that the sign up button is basically a legal agreement
I mean throwing your opinion out there is fine, criticising someone is fine, but there's a hard line between being respectful and being completely abusive |

| Yep. There is a fine line between freedom of speech, and abusing it. If I share my opinions, that's free speech. If I tell someone that their opinion stinks, and that it will never happen, that's abusing free speech. |

You are welcome to your opinions and to disagree with one another but do not attack (flame) or insult others for any reason If you are a member of a religious or political group, ROBLOX is not the place to post about your political views or religious ideals
thats in Rules of conduct

| Basically as long as you express yourself without putting someone in danger it is "ok" but calling someone a scrub is not really a suing but being a butthead. |

@sov
that's because the defintion of a car is different from how to fix a car
if i looked up "human" and it told me the definition of a human, the definition doesn't need to include all of the ways to cure diseases humans have

| Dictionaries usually just define a word, generally for universal comprehension, not necessarily specifying its roots and actual meaning. |

i'm not disagreeing that you can be kicked off of this website for using freedom of speech in a bad way
nor am i saying that just because you have the right to freedom of speech you're not open to criticism
but if i say "i think all (insert minority group here) are (insert hateful comment here)" then it's still freedom of speech because i would be saying my opinion because i said "i think" at the start of that comment

@sovan
it's still freedom of speech and even though it may be hurtful to someone as long as they didn't agree saying that they couldn't say things like they said then you can't punish them for it

| Yeah but unfortunately the (American) government is changing the first amendment because of political correctness and trying to get rid of the second amendment. Freedom of speech is not the same as it was before Obama came into office. |

stopping people from inciting violence through hate speech is not infringing on freedom of speech |
