So im building a train that uses two-tone colors. When i use negativeparts, the surface of the piece that it was used on turns gray. I want it to keep the color it currently has.

You separate the negative part, color it the color of the tone you want it to be, make it negative then union them. If the negative part was yellow and your original block was grey, it will leave the yellow in which was negated from that surface

The problem is that i use two colors, one for the bottom and one on top. Plus, the paint scheme has unusual angles that are hard to fix by making separate negativeparts for each color.

Can you upload a picture so I can see the unusual angles? You can probably negate another part top and bottom after you union those two to get that color under and above it back?

Well, i couldn't find the solution. I hope ROBLOX adds a setting so you can change it so it doesnt change colors.
