Before we begin a bit of a story for the game. Below the story contains the instruction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the dystopic setting of Roblox, year 30XX, the population of the whole player base has disappeared and continued to disappear each year. No information as to why or how, but the remaining population knew when this dwindling of the population has begun.
A few years ago, in a desert, there was a base. Within the base was alien technology, files of classified information, and abandoned test subjects. Once discovered a recon team was sent to investigate the area in the efforts of finding important information. Unfortunately, the recon team was under prepared and perished within it, leaving 8 out of a 94 member squad to survive. And the few to get out of the base described the area to be a maze, shrouded in darkness, and with an ambiance that silently echos the screams of the past. But one folder was brought back by an unknown writer, and within the papers containing spread sheet data and journal entries, there was a certain passage that went like this.
"In my own studies, I had found out that this world was to be doomed, and the only hope of survival had passed three years ago. Calamity will come here soon, and we cannot stop it. That is, unless this new machine I had been working on is fixed. But I fear that a certain mysterious organization might get to me before that comes." - Journal entry 921, date: 3/22/3026
Many believe that the cause of the constant population drain is caused by whatever this author has described, and the solution of stopping this decline is found in that base. Unfortunately, every attempt has failed of finding everything as the base had become defective and disorganized by the sweeping sands entering the building. But some others persists to find answers. These people who continues to search for clues within the base are called "Sand searchers" due to how much they dig through the sand when exploring the areas. These Sand searchers devoted their life to scanning every inch of the base, and settling and making a life within it, which is made possible by the sheer size of the room found underground.
Pallio, a youthful man, is one of the sand searchers and so was his entire family. But one day he finds locked door with a key code attached to it. Curious, Pallio begun fiddling with the code in the effort of cracking it open. Eventually this curiosity became and obsession and lead to his unrest and sleepless lifestyle. Until one day, when he had lost conscience after a month of finding the correct code, he wakes up to see the door open, and a sand print of a rubber boot ingrained walking into the room.
Before he collects his tools and go into the room, he begins to feel fear, and considers that he might need help before exploring the new area.
So he goes off to find others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character creation: Create a character with details on the following: Skill, story, inventory, current location, and Motivation.
)))Skill: Choose either one of the skills in the "[]"'s Ex: [Fight.] --[Fight.] Or combat skills --[Charm.] Or Dealing and compromising skills --[Intelligence.] Or able to have vast general information in your head --[Luck.] Or have a better chance at getting what result you want over things you have no power over. (With the luck skill you are unable to have better luck at fighting or getting a better score in a writing essay, but you are able to get a better chance of things such as a multiple choice tests, or game based on chance) --[Integrity.] Have thicker skin, and high tolerance to anything, both mental and physical. --[Utility.] Weapons or vehicles are much suited for you, but is the most capable with any handy work that is not combat based, such as medical procedures or repairing a tool. This skills can help other players by acting as the medic or repair man. --[Avoid.] The skill of stalking, hiding, and dodging. You are less likely to be detected Each of these skills can aid the player in the story. For example, if the player wants to fight, having the skills "Fight" allows the player to be able to win with a 70% chance of success, however, any thing situation besides combat will result in only 40% of success. So a person with a skill "Fight" is less likely to succeed that a person with the skill, Intelligence. Your result upon acting is determined by a random chance script by the game manager, me. If you fail, the punishment will be decided by me.
)))Story: Your story will be your character in this Role Play's past. You should explain in detail how your character came to be.
))) Inventory: What your character currently has and owns. These could be small weapons, tools, or mundane household items. But in general, please do not add in the inventory list anything large such as a car, or your character will be invalid.
)))Current Location: Where you want the character in the story to be in the beginning. Otherwise, if it is not specified, the game manager will decide for you.
))Motivation: This is your character's goal, besides what you want to pursue on this Role Play game. Your character's goal can be anything as long as it can be completed during the role play campaign.
Fill this out, and you can be a character in this Role Play game. Once there are 4-10 players, the story will begin. You cannot make a new character in a middle of a role play campaign, but you can still participate by controlling the protagonist made specifically made for this story.
How to play/Game info: Basic RPG stuff
1. If you are speaking in character or telling how your character will act, leave a exclamation point before the statement, otherwise if it is out of character leave a "--" before it
For example: ! Palio goes to the table to get a drink --This is how you talk when out of character.
2. If you have a character in this role play, only the last post regarding how your character should act will be counted. For everyone else who doesn't have a character in the story, only the latest comment I see shall be counted, and it will affect what the action of the protagonist, Pallio, will do next, this is of course, if your post answers the questions brought on below the post by the game manager. Once the game manager posts the event, your actions will be final and cannot be changed.
3. Your character can exist in either these statuses
Alive: Currently active Dead: Perished, cannot be revived or return back Immobile: Cannot move, but alive, can be picked up by other characters Preoccupied: Busy, still alive, but cannot be bothered by other characters Disturbed: When a character has gone through an event and changed them drastically.
4. In every event, there will be a question below it such as:
Example: [What shall Pallio do next?] [Should you pick up this item? If so why? And what can it be used for?] [What was the conversation with this person like?]
For your post to decide the action of Pallio, you must answer these questions and decide what to do.
5. I shall decide what the result of the character's action is according to whatever my random chance simulator has given me. And I will summarize the current status of each character below.
6. Unfortunately, you cannot OP mod, if you do it will most likely be just be put up as an attempt at an action and you might fail.
7. You are allowed to interact with someone else's character, but you must first engage with the character first and the character that you initiated an interaction with will determine how they interacted. Interaction means things such as conversing with another character and such.
For example:
Character "A": !I talk to (Character "B") and reason with him
Character "B": ! As much as (Character "A") insists, he, (Character "A") will not lend him money.
Sorry for the long post, but this is bound to be fun!
tl;dr The story is about people in a base, a kid named Pallio needs friends to explore the base. You need to make a character according to the directions above. But most of the instructions are usual Rpg stuff |

How so?
If the character sheet is the problem, just write down what skill you have, your back story, what you have in your inventory right now and where your character is right now. |

Pallio steps out of the room with the door. He is bewildered as to why it is ajar, and intimidated by the darkness and the hissing he hears from there. And for a second he saw a blink of red lights. But he knew he was exhausted, and was not in the right mind to trust his senses.
His heart jumped when he had heard a person's foot steps. It was just a few feet away from him and he didn't expect another sand searcher to come around here, especially when it should be at least a mile away from the nearest settlement. He wondered if the person was lost, as this base is quite large and was shaped with narrow hallways that looks the mostly the same. He stared at the skull just outside of his room and realized that some poor guy had died lost here. He decided to help his fellow sand searcher.
He followed where his foot steps were left on the sand, and rushed towards him. Just a few minutes later he caught on him.
There he was, the man that was lost around this area. He looked quite tired, and his legs walk around in slow paces, almost like they were dragging behind.
"Hey, you lost?"
He ignored Pallio's response and walked on without any disturbance. "Was he deaf?", Pallio thought.
He took a closer step towards him and tapped on his shoulder, and the immediate second that his finger entered the man's personal bubble he reacted swiftly with a revolver nuzzled between Pallio's eyes.
Pallio just saw the man and he was a strange looking one; he had a dark skin and a ranger hat. For a second he wondered if he worked at the coal district outside of this base, which explained why his face was so demonically dark. He was intimidating, and horrific, like the monster in the closet that he imagined has he was a child.
The man lowered his gun way from Pallio's forehead
He spoke, "Oh, sorry I thought you were some Pale-lickers. Didn't realize you were a kid."
He was offended that he was called a "Pale-Licker" which was a derogatory term for the people in the lower levels of the dungeon, who are known for being hidden from any form of light and reported to have the tendency of licking anything just to see if it isn't poisoned for them to eat.
"Anyways, I am a bit lost, not sure where I am, can you guide me somewhere? Anything interesting around here is fine. I don't need hospitality, can take care of myself for sure. Oh, and my name is Dark. D. A. R. K"
Pallio didn't mind his request, he too was prepared to defend himself, so he didn't fear this man entering his place.
So they returned to the room with the door.

This might be an interesting time to explain the anatomy of the base.
The base is surrounded by tents and make shift vehicles owned and set up by the traffic of migrants in to the base. Most of the people outside would not be able to afford or be able to protect themselves being in the base itself, and as a result they would camp outside and form their own business to get profit to get the proper tools to live within the base.
But that is outside, inside of the base however, most people divides the areas in to 8 classes.
The first of the base area class is class one, the monument. The monument is anything the base has that is sticking out of the surface of the desert sand. Anywhere within this area is considered class one, just as long as it does not go below the surface. This area was refurbished and constructed to serve as the visitor area, in which it provides the visitor high class meals and entertainment. However, it is closed off behind a paywall of 90 bux, or due to the rarity as a result of cancelled production, a single tix. All except for the hospital, in which it is open to take in 90 patient at a time indiscriminately, but with the large number of inhabitant outside, all amounting to 242,195 people, the service is slow, which is lead to a large mortality rate in the area. But the reason that they would provide such service for free is that they use the profit they had collected from their visitor area in to the equipment of the hospital.
A little further and you meet the class two area, The transit, this area is mostly used for the temporary residence's hotel for the night. Unlike the class one area, this area is below the surface of the desert and holds many private business. Entrance between Class one area and class two area is very free, but most people refuse to take a night in the hotels due to its high billing. Instead, most people try to find employment in this area.
Class three and four is mostly similar. These two are for permanent residence, and is one of the largest class areas out of the eight, and for that reason class three and four are often both referred as the "Dust air area" due to the contaminated air there released by the air conditioning maintained in the base walls. This place has one of the most stable society out of all the areas, but had a history of tragedy when the first Sand Searchers settled here, within the first year people passing away as a result of unsanitary water and stale lungs. The difference between the two is that Class three is used mostly by residents who works within the transit, and class four taking sand searching as a hobby.
Now anything below class five is unknown and potentially dangerous. This is due to the lack of information known about the other four classes, and most condition of these classes can only be speculated about.
Firstly, class five is the barren. Essentially any area that are devoid of life or any sign of history. Most Sand Searchers explore these areas in the efforts of finding pathways to more complex areas. One of the most well known class five area is the Po Klein auditorium, in which musical services play in a large open space.
Class six is the exile. Before 2413, many criminals in the class Three areas are punished by being sent to the exile areas. These areas used to be heavily guarded until the area policy became outdated. These criminals eventually formed their own society, but it is far from civilized as most residence of class six is isolated from others and morally bankrupt. Unlike the class three and four areas, the location of the class six is mostly cleaned up and open, and most of the people in the area relies on the vaults embedded in the walls for their survival and living, as they use it for storage and as housing units.
Class seven is the unknown. Any area undiscovered, and is one of the most dangerous areas that the base has. After years of aging, the experiments done within the base had caused the animals lost in class seven to act irregularly, most having parasitic life cycles and erratic movement. Not to mention that the environment itself if entirely unsafe as the walls of the base has collapsed to allow hot air to enter and allow the area to be open to destabilization. There is no way of living in this area without any form of injury.
Class eight, however, is interesting, as it is one of the rarest areas in the whole base.
These class eights are only found within the deepest layers of the desert, but is always found to be well maintained. The most important detail of these areas are that they are often single rooms, labs or bunkers, that contain unseen data or technology. And since very few of these areas had been found, many had considered of exploring the class seven areas to find more of class eight areas.
The discovery of the class eight area is very important. The reason being that these new technology can aid humanity to a higher security and welfare. Some rumors even states the antidote to stop this population decline exist here.
Now that the base has been well explained, there is a significant person found in class six vaults.
He was a down on his luck migrants who had been spared from the despair of life by a stranger who had helped him in the base. He often hardly sleeps as he laments on his memories as he lies on a single piece of cloth on the solid concrete ground, rubbing two koins in his hands to calm his heart. For now he doesn't want to think, he simply want to find something to preoccupy himself, but he is held down by his sloth-like pondering. In fact, he had pondered on his family being perished by an attack, and he considered if he didn't have a place in this world besides robbing other's in secret.
His name night owl. Night because he had only felt peace under the shining luna, and owl, because it was the last thing he had remembered of his family's name in his long forgotten past.
But luckily, he was about to encounter a companion.
Party Member
[Pallio]: Alive: Resting at near the door [Dark]: Alive: Currently resting, but wake up in between hours to cater to his weapon
[Owl]: Exhausted
Should Pallio search for more people to join his team?
Should Dark help Pallio?
Should Owl leave his vault?
Answer these questions for the next chapter to come.
