So I have been thinking, Roblox is eventually going to run out of usernames and we'll end up with usernames like "ieb8jbbsk802". To bring back the username creativity, I think Roblox should allow spaces in usernames. That way, we can have more possibilities for usernames than never before.
What you might say:
"People can name themselves "[Space]Shedletsky" and impersonate admins." Solution: ROBLOX could add a rule saying usernames can't start/end with spaces.
"People can pretend to be guests." Solution: If someone tries to name themselves "Guest 1234", they'll get thrown with "Username not appropriate for ROBLOX."
"Admin commands may get confused if someone is named "All Mine"". Response: Some commands can't distinguish between usernames and groups.
"What if there's a popular user named "Epic_Guy" and the space update comes, someone can name themselves "Epic Guy" and pretend to be him." RESPONSE: People can name themselves "EPlC_GUY" and it will look like the real thing. That thing I described happens all the time.
If anyone thinks spaces should be allowed, say "I support." |

They used to allow this back in 2006. I din't know why they don't anymore, but just use underscores.

| But spaces make it less obvious. |

| Underscores just don't feel the same as actual spaces |

| As what I stated, ROBLOX will run out of usernames, which will include underscores. Eventually, they will have to resort to spaces to keep the creativity going. |

Found this: https://www.roblox.com/games/449698368/Fave-If-You-Want-Spaces-to-Be-Allowed-In-Usernames
Looks like a lot of people want spaces. |

If spaces were allowed it could be abused like if someone makes an inappropriate with it by spacing it, but if they have a strong moderation for using it in that way like if they can auto ban accounts using it for inappropriate reasons then i'll support.

| People could mistake a user for a group when it comes to games. |

| By that I mean the creator might be mistakened for a group. Though I don't think that's too much of s problem because groups can look like a user. |

Are you not aware that ROBLOX added underscores to usernames like, 3 months ago?
That is the exact same as a space.

ACTUALLY, even without "_" there is still enough account names for everyone in the wolrd to have at least 54 accounts
and 7 billion people will not join ROBLOX so there's no need to worry. |

Well I guess I support. To my knowledge, you can only have one underscore "_" in your name.

I don't really want to have to explain all the technicalities behind why what you're saying is really hard to do, code-wise, but suffice it to say that even Microsoft, a company which allows spaces in names, advises most companies AGAINST allowing it. Basically, they say "hey, learn from our mistakes, don't do spaces".
A space in a username actually can get really complicated in the coding, and that is why some smaller sites don't even want you using symbols, because their code is still pretty new and barely kinda chicken-scratched out enough to make things sorta work so they can get things going. Plus there is the matter of how to address people making the same name with different spacing (e.g. mrsmith, mr smith, mrs mith, m r s m i t h, etc) where in that last example it really messes with the syntax of the site.
I have witnessed first hand some of the mess that can come from having spaces allowed in usernames. While it is a nice feature to have, as a user, from a coder's point of view, this suggestion makes *me* kinda want to break my fingers so I'm not the one who has to deal with making that a reality. And I'm not even a coder for here. |

@ROBLOXNoob
You went through all the trouble to post a google image, just for it to say "no thanks."
And you couldn't just type "no thanks" because...?
"Be strong," I whispered to my wifi signal. |
