■▬▬ Foreword ▬▬■
This Manual, as of 08-11-2016, has been approved by a majority of the High Command structure of The American Colonies Continental Army. As such, this manual should be treated as the highest law in The American Colonies Continental Army and all other documents shall be treated as lesser.
■▬▬Section 1: Standards of the Enlist▬▬■
All enlists shall adhere to the following standards at all time while in the Uniform of a Continental soldier. Repeat failure to follow these articles can and will result in loss of firearms, dismissal from current units, demotion, or in the most extreme of cases, temporary ban from all American Colonial places.
-S1-A1: All enlists shall at all times refer to any officer by the title of "Sir." The only time wnlists may refer to other enlists as "Sir" is when said enlist is given a standing command by a officer. The enlist granted command will still refer to other officers as "Sir" and all other enlists granted command as "Sir."
-S1-A2: All enlists will, unless instructed to, keep arms stowed at all times. There are two exceptions to this rule The first exception to this rule is if the enlist is present in a field of battle, in which case the enlist may not draw arms until approximately 100 meters away from the nearest point of engagement. The second is if a enlist is in a area specifically designated as firing ranges.
-S1-A3: No enlist shall discharge their weapon unless meeting the requirements of the previous S1-A2. Unlawful discharge of a weapon should be considered more severe than the previous article.
-S1-A4: While present at American Colonies sites, including, but not limited to, towns, cities, fields, training yards, and any other areas to be designated as such, all enlists will be expected to follow Terms of Speech (to simply be abbreviated as "Terms"). The Terms of Speech are as follows: S1-A4-1: No enlist will openly speak in the presence of a officer. S1-A4-2: Any enlist wishing to speak will say "PERMISSION TO SPEAK?" The statement must be capitalized and properly punctuated or else the request will be denied. S1-A4-3: If the request is granted, then the enlist will speak with all words fully capitalized and with correct punctuation. If the request is not satisfactory to both requirements listed above, the officer who granted the request of the enlist has full permission to not listen to whatever is said. S1-A4-4: The only time the enlist may speak outside of requesting speech is when a officer demands a response from the enlist, in which case the enlist will respond in full capitalization, and will offer no more than the response to the question asked.
-S1-A5: All enlists shall immediately and with haste execute the orders of any officer. Disobeying direct orders from a officer shall be considered direct disobedience and will be treated harshly. Disobeying direct orders in a field of battle can be considered, depending on the circumstances, dereliction of duty or desertion.

Present Arms - the soldier will enter first person mode and right click with the musket in hand, bringing the musket into final position.
Advance Arms - this position is the basic position that is entered after draw arms is called and can be reached by performing the action used to reach the position that the soldier is already in. For example, if one wishes to move from Make Ready to Advance Arms, all they have to do is to left click and enter third person mode.
Shoulder Arms - this position is reached by pressing the F key with the musket in hand.
Guard Arms - this position is reached by pressing the G key with the musket in hand.
Ground Arms - this position is reached by pressing the H key with the musket in hand. It will render the soldier motionless.
-Article 3: Firing Sequences-
Volley Fire "Make Ready" - the soldier will enter the make ready position. "Take Aim" - the soldier will enter the present position, leaving the first person mode when the musket has been leveled. "Fire" - the soldier will discharge his firearm then the soldier will then reload his musket by pressing the R key. It should be noted that reloading renders the soldier completely motionless and he can only move by deselecting the musket, which will still be in mid-reload when he re-selects the musket.
Ripple Fire "Make Ready" - the soldier will enter the make ready position. "Take Aim" - the soldier will enter the present position, leaving the first person mode when the musket has been leveled. "Prepare Ripple Fire" - the soldier will take note of the position of the officer, for his position is where the ripple will start. "Fire" - the man standing closest to the officer will fire, and then begin to reload with no command as the man next to him fires, and this fire and reload will continue down the entire line.
Charge Fire "Make Ready" - the soldier will enter the make ready position. "Take Aim" - the soldier will enter the present position, leaving the first person mode when the musket has been leveled. "Prepare Charge Fire" - the soldier will remain at take aim as this is simply a preparatory command. "Fire" - the soldier will discharge his musket, and then press the X key to gain command of his bayonet. "Huzzah" - the soldier will repeat the phrase "Huzzah" and then charge forward from the line. "Reform" - during the charge, the soldier must take care to watch the officer as when the reform command is issued, the soldier will abandon the charge or bayonet melee and reform a line to the immediate right of the officer. The soldier must continually face forward during the reform line command.
Blanket Fire "Make Ready" - the soldier will enter the make ready position. "Take Aim" - the soldier will enter the present position, leaving the first person mode when the musket has been leveled. "Prepare _ Sheets" - the soldier will remain at take aim as this is simply a preparatory command. "Fire" - the soldier will discharge his musket and then automatically reload. After reloading he will "Make Ready", "Take Aim", and then "Fire" without command the amount of times given by the number in the "Prepare _ Sheets" command. Once he is done, he will return to Advance Arms.
-Article 4: Marching
"Forward March" - the soldier will march forward from their current position.
"Halt" - the soldier will stop in their current position.
"Cover" - the soldier will adjust his position in formation by allowing a full man of space between him and his fellow soldiers on all sides.
"Right/Left Step" - the soldier will enter first person mode and at a marching speed, step to which ever direction has been called until the command "Halt" is given.
■▬▬ Section 3: Advanced Command ▬▬■
"Column files from the left" - this command is used when a officer has formed his men into a column formation. When called, all soldiers will treat this command as "Prepare to March." At the call of "Forward March", the file to the farthest left of the formation will begin to march behind the officer with all other files staying in position. Once the first file has cleared the formation, the second file will begin to march behind the first, and this will repeat until the whole formation has become one single marching line.
"Reform Column" - this command is called when a officer has formed his men into a line formation. When called, the man to the farthest back of the line will step to the right of the line and walk to the front of the formation, forming a second column. Then, the now rear man will walk to the second column until the second column has a equal number of men to the first column.
"Flank Left/Right" - this command is called in a marching column. The command itself is simply a preparatory command and when called, the soldier will continue marching. However, when the officer who called the flank command issues the "Halt" command, the soldier will halt and then turn in the direction that was called in the flank command. It is then that the officer will call "Forward" and the column will begin to march.
"Form Left/Right" - this command is called in a single marching line. The first man behind the officer will step out of line, and line up next to the officer on whichever side the command was called. This is then repeated for every man in the line.
■▬▬ Section 4: Formations ▬▬■
Shoulder to Shoulder - All men are formed in a single, horizontal line (or Rank) in front of the officer. The line should be centered on the officer.
Single File Line - All men are formed in a single, vertical line (or File) in front of the officer.
Line Formation - The men are split evenly into two separate ranks in close order.
Column Formation - The men are split evenly into two separate files in close order.
Calvary Square - All men form a square around the officer. There will be two men to every side of the square and any more men will fill in the corners. The sides will be filled in the order of front, left, right, and rear.
Calvary Wedge - All men will form a inverse V formation behind the officer. The men will face out at a 45 degree angle and if the line is of a odd number, then the middle man of the line will take position directly behind the officer. The men will align themselves by ensuring that their left/right arm in inline with the opposite arm of the man in front of them and will be spaced out to ensure that one man may fit in between
Incline Wedge Left/Right - All men will form a single line behind the officer at a 45 degree angle. The men will align themselves by ensuring that their left/right arm in inline with the opposite arm of the man in front of them and will be spaced out to ensure that one man may fit in between
Stagger Formation - Starting from the farthest right of the line, every second man will step back five steps from the first line, forming two independent ranks which unless instructed to, will operate separate of each other.
Skirmish Formation - When called, the officer will walk in a certain direction and the men are allowed to break up the line and take cover at any point between the initial line, and where the officer is standing. Men will keep the facing that they were initially given. |

| Dude its Present Arms is putting your musket out not draw arms. And right click makes it so that you aim... Present is taking it out or keeping it with no Arms. |
