Haven't played it yet, but I heard that it eventually gets repetitive after a bit.

| I mean most of the games in the same genre as NMS are generally repetitive, I might eventually get it but I'm saving for MH:G and FF15. |

| Pretty much depends on the person, some people won't mind the repetitive exploration, I didn't jump on the hypewagon, though still looking forward to playing it, even after all these rants. |

It's repetitive, no major storyline but its about exchanging goods, discovering other planets and I believe you can build civilizations on the planets (kind of like a tycoon for a city)

I really like it. Elite: Dangerous is far better in almost every way, but NMS does have its moments. They're doing free content updates, so what we have now may not be what we have in a year. The next free content update is supposed to add the ability to own massive freighter ships and build on planets. Again, I far prefer Elite: Dangerous at the moment, but that may just be a bias I have. Elite was always one of my favorite series, so E:D has a special place in my heart. In any case, I really do like No Man's Sky. It's well worth the $60, especially considering all of the free content updates they'll be doing. It's a game you have to really immerse yourself into though, much like Elite: Dangerous.
