So I have this screen gui set up so that when a part hits a transparency, it goes to a transparency of 1. However, it doesn't happen.
It's an extremely simple script, I just don't understand why.
while true do wait(0.2) if script.Parent.Transparency == 1 then game.StarterGui.ScreenGui.TextLabel.TextTransparency = 1 else game.StarterGui.ScreenGui.TextLabel.TextTransparency = 0 end end
Note: The transparency only changes after I reset - which I would not like to happen. |

Changing the StarterGui only changes what players will see when they respawn. You have to edit that particular players PlayerGui
game.Players["PLAYERNAME"].PlayerGui.ScreenGui.TextLabel.TextTransparency = 1 |

| You wouldn't access a player's GUI from the server anyways |

| Which is why I switched over to a local script in starter Pack. |
