Due to the recent unexpected removal of personal servers, me and my friends have been desperate for a way to make our game save on exit, or how personal servers used to work. (team create is not a viable option)
Other than that, I have no idea how to tackle this, because all methods I've tried have failed at this.
I also turned on the "Save Place API" configuration or whatever and it did not accomplish anything.

has to be owned by a player not a group
look up create and save place api tutorials they give you literally everything and it is super accessible
if you want me to teach you how to save on place close i can give you code
are we cool yet? |

use team create
it is a lot like personal servers, but it is in studio
There is no way of "autosaving a game" while building in game.
Team Create is a very good thing and it is better than personal servers. |

| The removal of personal servers was stupid. They should've kept it for a Minecraft multiplayer environment and then introduced team create as another option not fully remove it. And the tools along with it are broken and forgotten which sucks because I loved them unlike others. |

create and save api allows you to totally emulate the old personal servers
i still prefer team create more but it's fun for parties

yeah but personal servers were always dumb anyways
Team Create is so much better, and there are so many more things you can do with it. |

| sadly, team create is not a viable option as it can barely process the amount of parts and detail put into the game when it was a personal server. Roblox Player handles it so much better and I hope that the save-place api tutorials help. i'll report back once I try what I can. |

So far, I have searched up and there are no tutorials on the subject, and though I have read and followed instructions given by the wiki, it remains too complicated to understand and the game I am intending to make this change to is not saving on exit like I wish it to. Any thoughts? |

| I know! It's been so hard finding a way to edit my game, because (due to the huge amount of parts) team create is too weak to handle our game that was built in f3x. Sigh. |

How does team create lag for you but PC not
PC literally runs the server and game scripts.
But if you want coop build I suggest pilgrim islands reborn |

| I know! It's really weird that the roblox player runs super smooth on the game, but studio just can't handle it, especially on TC. When you open the workspace, your studio lags so hard you can barely move your mouse... as we have put a LOT of detail into our game, and this makes Team Create a useless option. A personal server, however, (for some reason), would not lag at all. |
