| To anybody out there who has experience with this kind of stuff. How much would you recommend creating your own character/character controllers as opposed to using the default Roblox provides? And if you would prefer making a character yourself, what are the pros and cons of going that route? |

I mean, it's all about what your game is. Not all games need custom characters, some games require it, and some just have it for the look. Think about: Why would you want custom characters? How would they benefit you? Is it worth it?
Though, this thread is mostly about us answering those questions, you can probably answer them best yourself. |

| Well, of course, but I'm also interested in the differences between the two and what I'd be missing out on should I go with one road as opposed to the other. I've never done anything like it myself, but I am curious to know |

| It's not like you're missing anything necessarily. What kind of game are you making? That question needs to be answered before anyone can give you a good answer to your questions. |
