After the collapse of the Terran Empire, human and Xeno factions alike began squabbling and fighting for domination, alliances forged and broken with greatest of ease. Still afterwards the greatest empires trying to retake the old spanse of Terran space destroyed one another, only a few of the Xeno races had enough of themselves to rebuild.
From the ashes new Terran and Xeno civilizations rise to propel them to glory and dominance among the stars. However beneath hundreds of planets in the farthest explored galaxies an ancient race, twisted and asleep for millenia finally rise as the many civilizations fight one another they are awakening and once again seek to dominate every Galaxy as they once did.
Thoughtless, effecient, unfeeling, tireless. These words describe the ancient empire that now threatens the races among the stars. Soon everyone will be embroiled in not only a Stellar Conflict but a war for survival.

If you create a empire of insectoid/fungal creatures that evolve by devouring other species they have to have a weakness they can't evolve to defend. 6. Nation name: Necron Empire Leader(s): Silent King Government: monarchy Race(s): Necrontyr Home world: original lost to history, King now resides on Borsis Capital City(Same as home world if it's a hive planet): Borsis History: Once the Necrontyr were skin and blood, they're lives and culture devoted to death as the radiation from their sun killed them before long. Their cities were vast Necropoli reaching to the heavens. Wanting a better life they fled their home system and spread out. Meeting a long living race that enraged them a war was declared and the Necrontyr were losing. Until they found special gas feeding off their sun, they trapped it and many like it giving them living metal bodies and began calling the C'tan. The C'tan led the Necrontyr to victory but at a horrible cost, they had given up their souls and bodies to become living metal constructs that spread death and misery. However they went into a slumber in vast underground tombs on multiple worlds for hundreds of thousands of years. Now they awaken. So my understanding of this so far is that we're going to be insignificant bugs to be squashed under the feet of the now-awake great ancient empire, and besides conflict among ourselves, our main goal will be to prolong our existence as long as possible against the inevitable death.

| So why can only the Necrons get gauss tech? We humans already have it irl, though so far I've only seen it knock over soda cans and little else. Railguns are basically the same thing as gauss guns, but their method of operation is different, and railguns need more power and more maintenance, and have a slower fire rate in exchange for higher velocities and stopping power, and some such. |

| Well because I know about WH40K and I have an internets, I went to the wiki and looked them up. That's not real gauss weapons. That doesn't use magnets or coils or any of that. Those are combustion weapons. Combustion and breaking molecular bonds =/= gauss. |

Though their golden age has past, they remain loyal subjects of the Republic and make up the backbone of the Republic's traders. History: Formerly an independent state, the Edessan Empire was an independent population of humans which came under the fold of the Malsuth Republic roughly two centuries ago after a short war waged by the last Edessan Emperor led to the defeat and total annexation of their state. Since then, the Edessans have been loyal subjects fo the Malsuth - integrating themselves into the Republic with relative ease and rapidity.
History of the Malsuth Republic:
The Malsuth Republic, also known as the Malsuth Empire, is one that has always had a threatened existence. This has lead to widespread equality and liberty being accepted values before any other nation adopted them. A decisive defeat at the Battle of Brenheim led to the first female combat regiments in the Malsuth state's existence, women taking up spears and lining up for the shield-wall to defend their country after their men fell on the field before them. This lead to intensive militarization, with censues being used heavily to determine avaliable manpower and the Empire making sure every citizen got cursory military training when they came of age.
This intensive militarization was a benefit to the Malsuth as they liberated themselves from the yoke of tyranny, brave Malsuth men and women taking up the spear, musket and rifle in all eras to defend their state and freedom. Individuality and liberty quickly became as important to the Malsuth as home or family, defense of these ideals driving people to the town square to enlist in a line. It is also what allowed the Malsuth to defeat the Trayn on the ground and in space, with their heavily disciplined formations holding against the physically superior Trayn formations and driving them back into their own space.
In recent times, the Republic's Military has not waned. Every citizen of the REpublic, be they Ethnic Malsuth or Malsuth-Edessan, undergoing one year of reservist training upon graduating from secondary school. The Malsuth Empire bustles with trade, the guns of the Imperial Navy defending them from any pirates or terrorists and leaving Malsuth space as the safest space you can do any form of business. Thousands of ships buy, sell and transport trillions of Marius in goods every single day, and the Malsuth Economy is massive, strong and secure. |

And their respective scribes and blademasters, as the Noble Three lead all within the Ijolian system, not to be disturbed by petty annoyances, lest the pests be crushed under the iron fist of the Warmaster. None shall attempt to steal Ijolian secrets, lest the mighty Spymaster gain more information from the enemy. None shall invade the all powerful Ijolian system, lest the Defense Minister send infinite waves of the East Pillar armada to obliterate all opposition.
Hail the three. Hail the East Pillar. Government: Oligarchy Race(s): Nepos Homeworld: Estopiir Capital City(Same as home world if it's a hive planet): Brazzol History: The three primitive tribes of the Nepos (Keppen, Alvar, and Ithaar), had warred for tens of thousands of years, led by liars and thieves. But when the people of the Ithaar surrendered to the Keppen, Alvar led an attack on the vulnerable tribes, and were slaughtered by an ambush. Alvar was obliterated. Keppen and Ithaar's leaders formed a pact, the Ijolian pact, named for the Keppen tribe warchief, Takras Ijoli. This unified the planets of the starsystem under one banner; the banner of the East Pillar, which was named so because the east pillar is where the Ithaar and Keppen ambushed the army of Alvar and destroyed them ruthlessly and brutally. The East Pillar was prosperous for thousands of years, keeping out of other system conflicts, thinking others to be beneath them. Eventually, the Miseon, Kifrell, and Iole families took over the government, a change hardly noticed until one such Avelus Miseon was killed by Avelus Miseon II, his second cousin, and was in turn thrown from the right door of a starship by Avelus Miseon III.
Avelus Miseon III, the Warmaster of the East Pillar, decided to divide the system into three parts; the North Pillar, the South Pillar, and the West Pillar. The North Pillar was Miseon III's domain. The South was ruled by Frelon Kifrell, until he was pierced in the heart by a laser, which caused Ebrol Kifrell to take control of the South Pillar. Zaghar Iole was charged with the West Pillar. The three domains, united under the East Pillar banner, continue to work in harmony with each other, creating a dominant starship fleet that will defend their system for eons to come.
However, following the sudden and "mysterious" death of Ebrol Kifrell, his son's third cousin twice removed, Gjorleo Kifrell, took over, because Ebrol's son Ovfe was deemed unfit to lead and was gutted by an 8-foot tall pike, and his lifeless husk tossed into the depths of space.
With the Iole family the only one not to have any "incidents", the Ijolian people eagerly await the death of Defense Minister Zaghar, purely for comedic purposes.

Appearance: Avelus is 6'8", wearing a grand set of silver and gold battle armor, with holes in his helmet for his horns to poke through. On his back, a large silver and gold battle rifle. His armored sabatons are carved with the Miseon family crest, a circle with 18 triangles, 4 circles, and 25 unnamed shapes inside. Nobody knows what his face looks like besides Gjorleo, and he has an instant post traumatic stress attack whenever somebody asks. Inventory: Kurgan Battle Rifle, Comm Miseon commands the ship "Roakon".
Name: Spymaster Gjorleo Kifrell Gender: Male Age: 1142 Bio: Gjorleo is known to have been a warrior for most of his life, but for some reason got stuck with Spymaster. He's rather aggressive for a diplomat, but that's just from his experience in foreign relations with animate Snapple bottles in the 3rd dimension. Appearance: At a good 6'9", Gjorleo wears a flowing silver and gold attire, resembling that of a medieval king. He has a blade at his side just in case, but his blademaster Aorl comes with him everywhere. His face is scarred, with his left eye hidden by an eyepatch. He holds a cane in his hand, and always wears his favorite pair of slippers, made by the skins of fallen enemy dictators. Inventory: Kurgan General's Blade, Comm, Death Walking Stick
Name: Defense Minister Zaghar Iole Gender: Male Age: 1003 Bio: Zaghar was promoted from a lowly Planetary Governor of Harboron after an incident involving 18 battleships and a cruiser destroyed his planet and it's population while he was having tea with the planetary governor of Sodamot. He was promoted by Gjorleo, who felt bad that a commander had killed 32 million people. He has served the West Pillar without trouble since he was 1000. Appearance: Zaghar wears a set of dark blue light armor, similar to Avelus' except not quite as heavy and frightening. He keeps a pistol in a waist holster at all times. His face, like Avelus', is hidden by a mask, except Zaghar's is a plain, navy blue mask with eyeholes. Inventory: Energy handgun, comm, probably a knife kept somewhere where the light of day does not brighten
Species description (if it's a custom race): Basically humans, except naturally more muscular, a lot taller, and they have horns. Also a minor detail; their skin is always a dark blue.They also have three eyes, but they cover the third one because it's like an annoying zit that won't pop. |

Seeing his future, the mighty god Ahlo realized that he was the vessel that he had been seeking to spread his word. Ahlo watched his champion grow from the shadows, helping him learn and understand the world around him. When he reached of age, Ahlo revealed himself to the man, who is known as Oit. Ahlo told Oit of his teachings and gave him extraordinary powers, changing him into a bull like man. He was given extreme strength, speed, he could manipulate the weather, could become invisible, he was unstoppable. Oit listened well, and went around the uncivilized land, telling of Ahlo's teachings. Slowly, it began to catch on, over a course of centuries. IT mattered not, though, for Oit was immortal.
Eventually, the church of the Terius decided that Oit and Ahlo's teachings were a threat to their beliefs, and the government, which was a puppet of the church, essentially, deployed small forces to exterminate Ahlo's followers. Ahlo informed Oit of the coming attackers, giving him his blessings. Oit took the warning well, raising a militia of Ahlo's followers to help him fight the forces of the church. What followed was what they call the thousand year war, for obvious reasons. It lasted a millenia, as the followers of Ahlo spread the word to even more distant lands, the army grew, eventually able to go toe to toe with the Terius. They say that in the final battle, during the razing of Old Caivel, Oit took on an army of 500 soldiers armed with the most advanced swords and spears of the age and defeated them all completely unscathed. The church of Terius fell, and Ahlo's teachings spread across the world. For centuries Oit watched over his followers as technology improved, and now the space age - spreading Ahlo's teachings in every corner of the universe has led to all sorts of species coming to New Caivel. Leader CS Name: Oit Gender: Male Age: Thousands of years old, no one can pinpoint his exact age, not even himself. Bio: Oit is a savior...technically. He's not even Crillon, and he never was. Oit is merely deceiving his followers, as Ahlo was never real. Oit's immortality comes from being an exile of an ancient race of space faring people that had made so many advances in medical science that they were immune to practically all diseases, and old age meant nothing to them. Pair that alongside a naturally strong immune system, as well as highly advanced armor and weaponry(part of the reason he was so successful was because his armor and weaponry were millenia beyond those he were fighting).
Oit is a member of a now extinct(other than him, of course race of bull-like men known as Korlav. He was the most successful general employed in their military, his tactician skills unmatched. However, he always wanted the crown more than anything, and after 15 years of serving the king he attempted a coup. It failed, as he was unable to get enough supporters, and he was exiled far, far away. Soon the king would crumble anyway due to foreign invasion, as the entire Korlav population was wiped out. And so begins the rest of the story blah you know it. Appearance: A 9'8, red, bipedal bull with black stripes. He bears black armor with silver outlines and a gold crown. Inventory: His armor, a small dagger, and a large, energy assault rifle
Species description (if it's a custom race): The Crillon are a race of tall(7 ft on average), very skinny and lean reptilian creatures. Their scales can be in varieties of purple, blue, red, black, and green. Despite their skinny frame they're very durable and resistant to pain for the most part, and can regrow limbs. They have a relatively short lifespan of 100 years(short considering the amount of advancements made in medical technologies)
