Regarding the first piece: The linework and the attention to the glass texture of the salt shaker is very well excuted. Assuming that the style is inspired by Shepard Fairey, you did a great job. In terms of CC, I'd say the ellipses on the salt shaker cap could be worked upon and the composition of the subject shouldn't be touching the top of the frame.
Regarding the second piece: Love the mood you're going for in this piece, but the composition is a bit bland. Perhaps, next time around you could go for foreshortening. The colors in the background clash with the foreground you're trying to accomplish.

| Also, Kimxia, funnily enough, I matched the exact pixel distance from the salt shaker to the edge with the top of Obama's head to the top of the frame in the HOPE poster. But I do agree with you, I should have (and will) use my artist license and make it not as close to the top. |
