rap/hip hop: argument over which rappers are 'real,' fans battling their favorite artist like pokemon

classic rock fans dont fight because they are under the false impression that every major classic rock band was formed by nothing short of musical deities who blessed this earth with their sound, and that they are all superior to every other genre of music because "they did it first" or they "influenced so and so". theres nothing really to argue about in a fan base where everyone thinks every single song you put out is a masterpiece written by the second coming of jesus christ himself.
at least fans of other genres know there is good pop and bad pop, good punk and bad punk, good rap and bad rap, good metal and bad metal, and the fights within the fan bases come from trying to distinguish who is right about the quality of what.
classic rock fans just live in their own naive little bubble that their favorite bands are the best who ever lived and ever will live. they're distanced from reality.

classic rock isn't a genre you can't create a band and say you're going to do classic rock music because that's not something you can emulate. |

@classicalskids
i only used genres that were both relevant with today's music plebs and that I had knowledge of its fanbase
not to mention classical is a whole other level of music, the composers had to write for a bunch of different instruments which was pretty lit

| I am a proud Van Halen/ AC/DC fan, most people like AC/DC, so I don't get into fights because of it, when it comes to Van Halen, theres no difference between the AC/DC fanbase. I am so glad Classic Rock wasn't starting in the 2010s, because nowadays kill (Litrally) for having their own opinion. |
