I don't do it as I'm asked. I really enjoy answering questions, but I really don't put that much effort into answering every single one. If I don't know, I don't know. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

And I should make that clear, because I'm not here to look smart, I'm not here to lecture people, I'm here because I have fun. I enjoy talking to people about the things I know, and it's amazing to have finally found a place that allows me to do that.
I've always had a hard time talking about these kinds of things face-to-face with other people because they tend to get bored quickly, and I really can't blame them for that. But here, it's an open platform. We can say what's on our mind, and for me, that often includes new things I've learned or information I think would benefit other people.
I don't frantically search up answers to questions I receive, because that's just not fun to me. Believe me, there have been times when I've tried that, and I get legitimate panic attacks from it. If I don't know it, I don't know it. Plain and simple. And even if I DID do that and found enjoyment out of it, so what? If I enjoy it and I'm not hurting anybody, what point is there not to? I wouldn't frown upon people who do that one bit, as long as they disclose that it's just their quick research skills and not based off of memory or notes or whatever.
If it seems like I'm a walking wikipedia, it's just because I have way too much time on my hands, and I spend most of that doing what I love, and most of that includes reading about science. I'm fairly one-dimensional when you really think about it. Like most of us here, I don't have all that much of a social life, and I spend that time just reading that kind of thing for fun.
You can think what you want, and I won't judge you for that. I'm sure you've already convinced people that it IS what I do, and I won't judge them for agreeing with you either. The most I can do is give my word on it. Whether you believe it or not is all up to you.
I really do appreciate you bringing that up though, because it has been something I've wanted to address. Thank you. <3

I think there is a good chance that he does. In my opinion, Dapper is one of the best and smartest minds of the OT community.
