I've got one of everyone's favorite types of errors - the ones that don't occur in test mode, but occur in servers (not using filtering enabled.) However, this one's a bit different from the usual.
Essentially, I have a script so that if the player is hit by a projectile, then a script in that projectile fires a BindableEvent inside the target players weapon that causes said target player's custom animations all to stop. These projectiles that are fired are parented to the character of the player who fired them, and are created by cloning a base projectile located in ReplicatedStorage.
My problem is this: If I fire the projectile at myself, everything works fine: all the custom animations loaded in to my humanoid stop both from my perspective and from the perspective of other players. However, if someone else shoots me with the projectile, all custom animations stop *from everyone else's perspective*, but on my screen, my animation is unchanged.
Both the script in the projectile and the script in the weapons that holds the BindableEvent that stops all animations are server scripts, not local scripts. I've tried replacing the script in the weapon with a LocalScript and using a RemoteEvent instead with :FireClient(), but I had the exact same problem.
Does anyone know how or why this is happening?

You've been a good and faithful servant, Severus.
But only I can live forever.

You should tell people how you fixed it instead of just saying "Fixed." so people know how to fix it in the future.
