"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
The first amendment. A central document in our life, which guarantees we may never face punishment for speaking out against a corrupt government, and which ensures the free flow of information and ideas. But this first amendment which we all hold so dear has come under attack as of late by the corrupt politicians through all branches of our government. If I am elected to the House I will ensure the continuance of our freedom of speech, religion, and the press.
Another important issue I will tackle in the House is the issue of former criminals being prevented from getting jobs. People turn to crime when they have no other means of employment. We force people to commit crime by preventing them from getting a job. But these very crimes in the future prevent them from getting jobs, and the cycle repeats. We can significantly cut down on crime by passing legislation to easily pardon criminals for crimes of the past.
When elected to the House, I will stand up for small businesses. As of late it seems everyone is against businesses, be it city councils, or the Department of Commerce itself. I will pass legislation making it easier for people to both start small businesses and continue to run them. Those who can create a reputable small business, and can pass city council, should not be immediately turned down by developers.
The way people get jobs with government agencies in this country is broken and in desperate need of repair. Our current system of tryouts both fills our agencies with rogues and abusers, and denies the average American a shot at a job. I will push for government-mandated reforms of the way we accept people into agencies, ensuring more emphasis is placed on a person's morals, grammar, and loyalty than one's combat. Of course there are agencies where this approach won't work, such as SWAT and SF, which should both remain mostly combat based, but other agencies, such as the FBI and Marshals Service, should remain open even to those without a large amount of skill in combat.
We also need reforms to our justice system. We need to continue to guarantee our citizens the right to a speedy trial. In the House I will push for justice reforms.
I look forward to serving you in the House of Representatives.
Signed, Norman Paperman

>No that's a bad idea and you can't force agencies to hire previous felons.

>You can't expect developers to give random businesses teams.
