You can lerp a part.
local cf1=part.CFrame --Original CFrame local cf2=part.CFrame*CFrame.new(0,50,0) --To new CFrame (50 studs in the air). for i=0,1,0.2 do local cf=cf1:lerp(cf2,i) part.CFrame=cf wait() end
This will make the part travel in a smooth transition 50 studs in the air. This method can also be used for animating.

Yes, but shaylan said they use actual animations. They simply do :Play() whenever the gun fires. How to?

AnimationControllers work iirc. Read the wiki page on animations.

I don't have a copy of phantom forces so I don't have the slightest clue. Go ask Shaylan.

Are you one of those pedantic novices who rewrites everything each time a component is needed?

Your not adding any components onto the code.

Guys, I need a way to create animations onto objects without humanoids. Roblox Animation Editor isnt working, and yes I've added Motor6d's. The parts simply dont move for some reason.

If you named your GUI 'tag', there is no reason why my script would not work.

That was the most illogical attack I've ever seen. Let me ask again: what do my commenting habits have to do with this? If you have any questions about how my code works, feel free to ask. I write few comments because to me, at least, my intent is clear, and I cannot predict confusion others might run into.

The CFrame wont hurt, because the tool is a part, which shakes the player around with it. Unless there is a way to fix this im not aware of?

Ah, then you must instead change the shoulder C0 accordingly.

"my code" 'my' Lmao.
God this reminds me of that quote off phantom forces: "When arguing with idiots they will drag you down to there level and beat you with experience". For this reason, this is the last post I will make against you.
"illogical attack"
An attack? Don't get so sensitive, I'm literally just typing that your copying and pasting other peoples post, which is exactly what your doing.
"what do my commenting habits have to do with this?"
Your not commenting, your copying and pasting other peoples posts. If this is a habit then you have serious issues.
"I write few comments because to me, at least, my intent is clear, and I cannot predict confusion others might run into." Your not writing them, your copying other peoples posts, is that intent not clear enough for you?
Evidence: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=194747263 https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=194747981
Your not tweaking these scripts, your copying them letter to letter. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

If that is how you feel then why did you bring up comments in the first place? I can't take you seriously when you are using quotes from a game and improperly punctuating.
