Not on the negative side, but horror games.
I am the biggest chicken that ever comes to horror games.
The only horror game i have played is 'Eversion', and that game hasn't got any jumpscares. To say it clearly, jumpscares are my kryptonite.
But, if you want to have my negative, it's idle games.
Sadly enough, most of the games popular on gaming sites like Kongregate are idle games.
Those games kinda show how addicted people can be for one thing... |

Runescape? TERA? There's also Path of Exile but I think that's more of an ARPG with multiplayer elements I suppose RIFT, WoW, and The Old Republic could count but I've never played any of them |

My least favorite genre is clicker games.
The thing about games with auto-battle and such is that there is actually strategy before the battle, clicker games have no thought whatsoever, I still don't like most auto-battle games as they're not engaging enough, but I dislike clickers more.
As for good MMOs: Guild Wars 2 is pretty good, it has the most balanced PvP I've seen in ages and the PvE is fun as long as you keep moving to new areas. |

| RPG (though NetHack is pretty cool), MMO, incremental, and strategy. |

idk if any of these games dont include these but if they dont ill play them: -grinding -world of warcraft style combat where you just press the same few keys a lot and cant aim your attacks -having to look up a guide so people wont get angry at you for not knowing what to do in a dungeon on your first time -subscription -p2w elements

I haven't played enough of Path of Exile to answer all of these but it's free to play and from what I understand, heavily inspired by Diablo II so if you liked that game I guess you could give it a shot. |

You probably wouldn't like GW2.
Guild Wars 2 has quite a bit of grinding if you craft stuff, and yeah the combat is similar to WoW, the community is generally better than "no guide, no invite to party." you don't need to pay monthly as it's a one-time reasonable payment, and you can buy gems which turn into gold, but nothing too unbalanced comes from gems. |
