Give me ideas, I have been constructing an outline of what I think is proper. But I can't find a loop around that is used for democratic votes where people have a group like FEAR and sonic wants to be council so he tells fear to vote for him and then they all go and vote sonic. |

Direct democracy for a representative system Hero.
So say 4 people are running for 2 seats. I want a loop around that would work for someone that is voting for these people where if say clan 1 wants there leader in the council can't just have their members all vote and create a massive pull in the polls.
One way to avoid this is google forms Another is that we require them to log into a gmail account so they can only vote 1 time.

your use of "loop around" really throws me off.
It creates connotative interference in your message... |

Let me explain to you what my idea of how to implement a democracy system would be:
HttpService. It's all about HttpService.
Google Forms - everything - all useless. Polls are awful. Forum voting is awful.
To be eligible to vote in this clan, you need to have spent at least an hour and a half in the past two weeks actively at the clan forts or clan events. HttpService will log this.
People will go to a ROBLOX place to vote, and they will do their voting there. The group is owned by a holder account which never is actually used by anyone. Exiling, promotions, and demotions are all handled with the automation bot.
This is the _only_ good way to do democracy. No other way is really worth it.
Hope I helped.

I mean loophole. It's a loophole to spam votes for 1 person. Even with predetermined rules.

Google Forms, polls, forum votes - all can and will be rigged by people.
HttpService or nothing is my opinion.

Look, I don't understand you because a democracy is literally the people's rule.
By way of being democratic a direct democracy is literally the most popular candidate/idea being the one that is adopted/officiated.
The only loophole, if we're talking about Obtention's goals of a council, would be to appoint clan representatives based on their member count.
Maybe 1 per thousand in clans with 1k< members
1 per hundred in clans with 100< members
and 1 per ten in clans with >100 members
That would mean that a clan is given representation by a smaller amount of people. It isn't a direct democracy, as for a direct democracy all parties must vote, but it is a representative democracy which is as close to a loophole as you can get without defying the "democracy" part of this situation. |

I personally think direct democracy no matter what is a fairly bad idea in any form - people have too many things to do to worry about every little issue. I do love representative democracy, though, which this would be.

I still do not understand I mean if it's a direct democracy it doesn't matter if a clan leader has all of his members supporting him.
that is exactly how a democracy is lol
All of your supporters support you.

Hangon guys, I will come out with my idea in like 30 minutes because I think I know what we can do now.
By direct I mean you vote who you want from the ballot. And all parties can. Not just a few. This would though create the representative body

No offense man but is English not your first language?
That last sentence of your explanation throws me off big time.
You're talking about voting for candidates on a ballot.
And then suddenly you throw in "representative body".
Voting for your candidate does not creative a representative body.
It tosses me way off from what you're trying to say when you throw something in there. It's like putting a brick wall in the middle of the road.

That's because the idea is have formed and I am only giving half of what I am thinking to you.
Also you're over complicating it.

English can't be your first language.
I'm not over complicating anything.
Democracy is literally a popularity contest. You're saying you want it to not be a popularity contest.
If I'm wrong, you haven't made your intentions clear.
It'd help if you just said exactly what you're trying to do. |

I want to help you.
You're making it really hard to do that when you say things that are contradicting each other.
Just tell me what you're trying to accomplish and I can give you a decent enough set up. |

| I have a very good process in mind with how alts can be cut out of the equation, and we can ensure that one person gets one vote in an election process. |

See Polymorphic used English.
If you were worried about 2x votes per 1 person. You could've said that.

I want to limit the amount of abuse of a popularity vote and alts, but I think I found a way to do that. I am writing up a post with help, that will get the point across better.
