Section II- Divisions and Limits
In the United States Secret Service there are many divisions. Each division has it's own job. Each rank in the United States Secret Service also has a maximum member count. (I had one when I was the Director) The ranks, divisions and limits are:
Agent-in-Training: Maximum 10
Agent: Maximum 10
Uniformed Division Officer: Maximum 10
Counter Sniper Team: Maximum 10
Counter Assault Team: Maximum 10
Protection Detail: Maximum 4 to each VIP, Minimum 1 to each VIP
Special Agent: Maximum 10
Supervisory Special Agent: Maximum 5
Special Agent in Charge: Maximum 1 per division plus a Head SAiC. Maximum 6
Chief of Staff: Maximum 2 Minimum 1
Deputy Director: Maximum 1
Director: Maximum 1
Section III- How to get Jobs
There are two main ways of getting a job withing the United States Secret Service. Tryouts and Interviews. Although there are other ways these are the two main ways. Tryouts would occur only once a week. Interviews would be held once a month. Tryouts would be held at a tryout place and interviews would be in person at the tryout place or a designated interview place. All of these events will be official.
Section IV- Evacuations and Lock downs
Evacuations occur when there is a huge threat inside the WH. This is very rare and should never happen! If it does occur then all VIP's will be loaded into limo's with only ONE Protection Detail officer in the limo and he would be driving. You would use as many limo's as it takes to get all VIP's to the safe destination. The destination would be chosen by the director but usually it is either at the prison or somewhere underground. During an evacuation only ONE Protection Detail Agent is going to be with the VIP's in the limo. All of the other Protection Detail Agents will get in cruisers and drive to the destination. There would be one cruiser in front of the limo with the director and 3 Counter Assault Team Agents. Sirens and lights would be on at all times. The rest of the SS team would be behind the limo with all the Protection Detail, Uniformed Division Officer, Counter Assault Team and the Counter Sniper Team. When you get to the destination all of the VIP's would go with the Protection Detail to the deepest point of the prison or the other destination. The Counter Sniper Team would go on the roof with their MK11's out and kill anyone that comes near the prison (even if they are law enforcement. Only people from the White House may come to the destination). The Counter Assault Team would have their M4's out and be spread out along the fences and inside the prison. Since the White House was evacuated that means that Special Weapons and Tactics, Homeland Security and Secret Service Special Agents would still be at the White House clearing the threat that was there. Once the White House is clear all Secret Service that went to the evacuation destination would return to the White House.
Lock downs occur when there is a breach or an attack on the White House. This happens a lot when you think about it. During a lock down all Secret Service would go to the top floor of the White House with their VIP's. Again the Counter Assault Team and Counter Sniper Team would be on the White House roof. They would kill everyone that enters the White House grounds but not anyone already in it (they can't see the name tag to see what team they are on). The Uniformed Division Officers would be on the White House grounds killing the threats. When it is over all units would go back to their normal routine.
Section V – Normal Routines and Permissions
Normal routines as a Secret Service Agent are different regarding each division. There are lots of things that the Secret Service needs to do on a daily basis. The most important one is keep the White House safe. The following list will tell what each rank is supposed to do and what their permissions are.
Agent-in-Training: The Agents in Training are usually assigned to an Agent to learn with the Agent. They are sometimes placed with a division like the Counter Assault Team to learn what they do. When an Agent in Training is placed with a division that is the division that the Agent in Training will eventually become. The Agents in Training have very few permissions, the permissions of an Agent in Training are: You are NOT to leave the White House grounds, you can NOT let any visitors into the White House, you are to always be respectful and responsible, you have to act professional or you will be fired and you are not to argue with another Secret Service agent. You will be an Agent in Training for at least a month or until you pass 10 trainings.
Agent: Agents are the same as an Agent in Training but they have more skill. Agents have been an Agent in Training for over a month and have been promoted to an Agent. Agents have the same permissions as Agents in Training.
Uniformed Division Officer: Uniformed Division Officers need to be very good with gun fighting. They use only the M4 or another automatic assault rifle. The Uniformed Division Officers have more permissions that the Agents and Agents in Training. Their permissions are: You can only leave the White House Grounds for a perimeter check and evacuations. This means you will be on your police bike in the sidewalk closest to the White House fences. They will close any gates left open and if a gate is left open they use the radio and report it. When reporting an open gate you will use the direction of the gate from the main gate. The next permission that the Uniformed Division Officers have are letting visitors into the White House for a tour. When a tour is happening a White House staff will lead the tour and there will be two Uniformed Division Officers per each tourist. If there are not enough Uniformed Division Officers then the Counter Assault team would take place and follow the tourists. ALL GUNS WILL NOT BE OUT DURING THE TOUR! Guns will only be out if a tourist takes out a gun. Since we do not have a search tool we have no idea if the tourist has a gun so we need to be very cautious.
Counter Sniper Team: The counter Sniper Team is always on the roof of the White House and the surrounding buildings. The Counter Sniper Team will kill anyone who tries to get in the White House. If anyone touches the gates or fences of the White House then the Counter Sniper Team will fire on them immediately. They will not stop until the person(s) are killed. The permissions of the Counter Sniper team are: You are allowed to leave the White House to get on the roofs of surrounding buildings and for evacuations, you can not let people into the White House. You are not to talk to civilians unless it is about a crime.
Counter Assault Team: The Counter Assault Team is at the main gate and throughout the White House. The Counter Assault Team will kill and take care of all threats. The Counter Assault Team has the same permissions as the Counter Sniper Team.
Protection Detail: Protection Detail only protects the VIP's on the Secret Service team! No body else. If someone requests to be protected they need to be on the Secret Service team. The Protection Detail takes care of all Protectees on Secret Service team. The only exception of this rule is if the POTUS or VPOTUS is on a different team. The permissions for the Protection Detail are: you can only leave the White House if your with your assigned VIP, You can not talk to citizens unless your ordered to or you have to ask them for what ever reason.
Special Agent: Special Agents have tasks that are assigned to them by the CoS+. They do not always work in the White House. Permissions for the Special Agents: Special Agents can leave the White House when ever they want, you are to do your job quickly and report back to the person who gave you the job.
Supervisory Special Agent: Supervisory Special Agents watch over the Special Agents and make sure they are doing their jobs. They help the Special Agents with their jobs if needed. SSA help SAiC with there divisions. Can let people into WH.
Special Agent in Charge: Special Agents in Charge control the divisions. There would be a Special Agent in Charge for every division [CAD, CSD, UDO, PD, Agents]. The Special Agents in Charge have the same permissions as Supervisory Special Agents.
Chief of Staff: The Chief of Staff of the United States Secret Service can do what ever they want in the White House. They control all staff of the Secret Service. The Chief of Staff has all permissions. They can do anything.
Deputy Director: Same as Chief of Staff.
Director: The Director of the Secret Service has control over EVERYONE in the Secret Service! The Director does everything.
All Secret Service Staff: Can leave the White House on evacuations.
Section VI- Promotions
Promotions are only issued for Agents in Training to Agents and then from Agents to your division. Promotions are given at tryouts only.
Section VII- Uniforms
Uniforms are mandatory in the Secret Service! They need to be worn at all times while on duty or face being suspended. You are to wear the appropriate uniform to your division. Easy as that.
Section VIII- Conclusion
I hope SS is active and they do there job.
Thank you for reading!
