Jake sat next to the door, and this tiny lizard walked by. There's a crack between the floor and the base of the door, and its tail was creeping through. My mom scolded him and he ran off, only to come back and try again. Mom scolded him several more times until he finally quit, but he sulked and pouted for a while.

Jake doesn't bring in birds since he is an indoor cat, but he will bring in anything that can fit through the door cracks.

He's 10 lbs last I checked, but he doesn't look it. Comparing him to other pet cats, he seems a little small.
He's 9 years old.

My grandma named him, technically. I was 9 when I got him, and I couldn't come up with a name. She said "Well he looks like a Jake, so call him Jake."
