Having read the *new* terms set by Roblox, user generated content comes under their license-giving them royalty free access to your work, for practically any purpose. Meaning they can use, modify and duplicate YOUR content and market it without any need to compensate or INFORM you.
Content makers, be warned.
I full advise reading the new T&C |

I tried reading it completely, it wasn't the length that bothered me but I just couldn't understand it. They use way too complicated language. This is a kids' game, come on.

As a rough breakdown, all User Generated Content UGC, becomes royalty free to ROBLOX, meaning unlike in normal situations where a fee must be paid for use of assets or content. Roblox would be free to take your work, use it, modify it, replicate it however they wish.
Meaning they could make money, on YOUR work and you wouldn't get a penny. |

You are making content on their game using their building tools. They can do what they want with player content made on their own platform.

This has always been the case, and will always be the case for all similar sandbox games.

| can't expect much else. ROBLOX studio and the supporting site infrastructure have evolved into a powerful game development suite. it's completely free and is very accessible to people of all skill levels. |

| Well, I guess I am just going to have to take my dream projects to either Unity, Unreal, or Source 2. |

I probably should delete anything from my future projects once I can move them off of roblox. So that way I can't get sued for not owning my own creation.
I can see a big court case coming up in the future for this website. |

| I suppose the ENTIRE mesh system, that involves importing INTO roblox, is made via roblox tools? Don't be so limited in your view. |
