| @Alex 7.5 billion people? If the world is already crowded, I highly doubt a city that's relatively the size of an ant can fit everyone. |

They can fit in Los Angeles.
IF we bunched up a bit more, there would be enough room for ten times the amount of people on the planet right now.

@cmp
that would also result in countless species going extinct because of so many humans encroaching animal habitat. |

That's shoulder to shoulder.
We could make houses for everyone inside a place like Texas and Alaska.
(Dang those places are big.)

Well, I think the population can fit into an AREA THE SIZE OF LA, not LA itself. You have to take buildings and streets into account. However, there is no population problem. Tokyo has one, but not the entire world.

@Alex just because we can crowd in doesn't mean the entire world's population can fit into L.A.
you're forgetting to factor in the current population density. |

| @Guan I'm not saying there isn't a problem, I'm saying that Alex's "solution" is completely impractical and barely uses any logic. |

| no not mosquitoes, i'm talking about elephants, bears, lions, possibly anything that's not a domesticated species, an exceedingly common wild animal (like a rabbit or a red fox or a raccoon) and animals that can adapt to their environment incredibly easily. |

| Water and food shouldn't be a problem in the first place as long as we conserve it. One reason why Africa has so much trouble is because governments and terrorist groups steal resources from innocent villagers. Water is easily reusable by turning human(or animal) urine into water. Food can be replanted. |

That.. makes no sense. How would putting everyone in los angoles fix anything? We'll still need the ressources! In fact it's gonna make it worse!
