Notice that the name "skybox" gives out the shape name. A box cannot be spherical.

I think if you take a sphere put the texture on it
then invert the mesh? (put it at a negative size? just a guess)

You take a cylinder or any part, put a sphere mesh in the part, and find a skybox or a texture and that should work.

you can use either a sphere mesh OR an egg and change the scale to a negative value

it does work if you use a negative scale on the mesh
