if i was supporting a charity i wouldn't think there would be a reason to hide the nature of this organization from me
this is fishy though |

Corporate, here let me explain it to you.
Harambe was the name of the gorilla that was wrongfully shot because the stupid kid fell into his exhibit while leaning over the fence or something.
The "#TeamHarambe" is a play on the pokemon teams hype and stuff where everyone has been posting what team theyre on.

| i don't get how people are really this, uh "not so bright" to go as far as making some uh "unneeded" hashtag on a "play on words" with pokemon go, which has no relevance to the whole incident |

Well, the gorilla was simply doing what anyone would've done if an intruder had entered their home uninvited. Last I checked, the exhibit was enclosed and had a guard rail to keep people from falling in, correct?
It's the parents' fault for letting their stupid child lean over the fence that is obviously there to prevent what happened.

obviously if someone fell in the fence was not up to the level of safety it needed
the parents should have paid attention to their child, yes, but just because the kid is being stupid and the parents are being stupid is no reason to just let the child die |

ok, so we're just gonna build a giant cage that covers any entry point and completely enclose an animal just so our children can be stupid and do whatever they want?
"the parents should have paid attention to their child, yes, but just because the kid is being stupid and the parents are being stupid is no reason to just let the child die"
how is it anyones problem that the parents nor anyone else jumped in or tried to help in some way? they instead sat there and recorded it. Again, youre going to kill a living being for following its instinct and defending its home against an invader?

well, you're not going to fix stupidity so you might as well try to prevent stupid people from hurting themselves

oh yes, send more people in to the gorilla cage so they too can die. great idea. bottom line, i'd rather the gorilla be dead than a human. |

or you can just let natural selection happen so we can progress as a species and learn from the mistake that these people made? this should be used as an example of what not to do 100%. always pay attention to what your child is doing when its within your control. and why would you kill a living being because it acted on instinct and did what any person would do?
"oh yes, send more people in to the gorilla cage so they too can die. great idea. bottom line, i'd rather the gorilla be dead than a human."
there are people that are trained to handle these creatures. the zoo has things to tranquilize gorillas. nobody helped. you dont even need to send people into the exhibit to fix the situation.
bottom line, both things that happened were stupid and wrong.

yes, let the stupid people kill themselves. better yet, let's just save a step and round up all the stupid people and gas them to death.
the parents should've paid attention, yes, but when it's between a gorilla's life and a child's life, the child wins out. if that was your child you probably would have no qualms with it being shot when it's your kin's blood on the line.
"there are people that are trained to handle these creatures. the zoo has things to tranquilize gorillas. nobody helped. you dont even need to send people into the exhibit to fix the situation."
you were the one who brought up sending people in after the kid, not me. the zoo said that tranquilizing the gorilla would likely put the child in a greater risk, so that wasn't an option. |

| you know it troubles me alot that people would rather have a child dead than having a gorilla that doesn't benefit humanity in anyway and don't say the child wouldn't benefit humanity because you're clearly not important to it either |
