So I have this function here that I run from the server-side when it is called on. I know it's better to have a gui related things on the client, but I don't know how I can get this to the run on the client and still be triggered like this function. I know about remoteEvents and functions but I've heard those can cause delays and make things look laggy, is there an another solution?
The function I want to replicate on client-side:
local DisplayMessage = function(text) for i,v in next, game.Players:GetPlayers() do if v.PlayerGui then v.PlayerGui:WaitForChild('MainScreen').HasJoined.Text = text end end end
Thanks! |
