Mobile: More power, more and cheaper games, better battery life, better graphics, and bigger screen.
Portable consoles: Much better games, physical copies and controls, remote play, more hardcore, 3D, and almost no pay to win games. |

Now to the negatives.
Mobile: Alot of Pay to win games, no physical copies, no physical controls, and more expensive tablets & phones.
Portable consoles: Less games, and less power. |

I'll just list some actually good mobile games here from best to worst, ranking is based on fun value.
Lemegeton (Hands down the best I've ever played, it's a free Castlevania.) Swordigo (Really solid platformer but imo le glorious Lemegeton is better.) Dungeon Quest (Generic but still enjoyable.) Dungeon Hunter 5 (There's also HIT which is probably better gameplay wise, but I was scared away by, oh how should I put this... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
Soda Dungeon (I honestly don't know why this is fun, you do pretty much no input during a run.) Sword Of Xolan (A solid platformer) Battleheart (Main gripe is that when a unit is over another one ordering it is frustrating.)
All of these are free. There's also Legend of the Moon but I haven't played it enough to judge it. |

| Oh and Swordigo is also as generic as it gets, forgot to mention that, you play it for the gameplay, not the story. |

Mobiles have less power, worse graphics and battery life because they ARENT MADE TO PLAY GAMES YOU DOLT.
-Russians aren't even human. Think about it: what other country has people who live in areas that are cold and inhospitable? Canada. And as we all know, Canadians are just sentient snowmen. Therefore, Russians are buff snow people.- |

"Mobiles have less power, worse graphics"
Not true, the 3ds is insanely outdated with its 240p screens |

Zangoose, have you ever heard of a thing called : The PS Vita? Granted it did die the day it launched, but still.

The 3ds looks sharp, even if its 240p. Plus, without 3d, the 3ds's resolution basically doubles.

The 3ds is 800x240 pixels 400 pixels are dedicated to one eye
some games, when 3d is disabled, turns on antialiasing or uses the extra res. a few games, like kirby planet robobot, don't do this.

"400 pixels are dedicated to one eye"
That isn't how it works, that isn't how any of this works.
Your eyes are focused on a single screen at any given moment, the top or bottom, so the 3ds is effectively 400x240p, giving it only 96,000 pixels per screen. In comparison, a 1080p screen has 2,073,600 pixels. Anti aliasing is just a bandage for 240p, not a solution. |

You're pretty much comparing Mobile to the 3DS alone.

A lot of great mobile games on play store but its mostly pay to win.
but personally I like portable consoles I owned a PS2 , DS2 and 3 In past and it was fun way to burn time.
