ask them how they think the language sounds its socially acceptable to say a language sounds ugly, harsh, beautiful, etc however people dont realize what this actually says about them no language is inherently harsh nor beautiful and the idea that german is harsh or french is beautiful are based off of deeply ingrained stereotypes... about the nations themselves, not the languages this will help you figure out what biases people have about certain nations |
