@Halo
well the fist thing is that it won't turn on unless it charging. and when i turn it on the top screen looks like its shattered even though the actual screen is intact. and i can't select anything on the menu |

sounds like you dropped the 3ds and broke the top screen [it appears that way due to its special screen thingy] and the bottom screen "it wont turn on unless it charging" i would have to see it to know whats wrong pics? you can get a 3ds cheap now, i bought mine and fixed it for 5$

@Halo
sorry i'm not going to be able to send pics but i can describe it pretty well. So lets say that i have my 3DS plugged in to the wall so it'll charge. well if i unplug it then it immediately dies like its out of battery. so i'll plug it back in but i'll probably have to wait a few hours for it to turn on. even if it says its full battery the second i unplug it it turns off |

sound like your battery got internally disconnected so it has to run off of a charge

you have to know how to solder, and that dosen't account for the broken screen / digitizer (i think thats what its called) you would need industrial-grade screwdrivers specific for the 3ds you might laugh at "industrial-grade" but i stripped a screwdriver in one turn on an xbox 360 and i have proof you would also need to purchase an exact replacement battery for the 3ds and a new screen / digitzer if it is broken you would be better off just buying a new one off of ebay tbh

soldering on a computer chip IS HARD, you need a steady hand and for jtagging i needed 2x magnification just to see the points if you arent careful you can burn your skin off [i did lol i dropped heated metal on my thumb and sizzled that skin to oblivion]

@Halo

if you unscrew the bottom of your 3ds you will see a ribbon cable going through the hinge
replace that |

my friends 3ds is super broken
opening up screen all the way if battery is OVER 50% will just turn off the ds (unless its like halfway)
opening up screen all the way if batter is UNDER 50% wont do anything (will act as if it was brand new)
its like a killswitch, over 50% = doom |
