I hope it turns out to be a good game. There have been a lot of things that would suggest otherwise.

@IhateMcCramer
Only the most mind-blowing game ever made.
Using procedural generation; complex math to make everything different, a group of people have made a literal galaxy to explore. Over 18 quintillion planet-sized planets, most of which will never be discovered, and all of which are unique.
Only downside is basically no multiplayer. The chances of running into another player is less than 1%, if you can actually, truly run into other players.
But yeah, everything is procedurally generated: The planets, the atmopsheres, the terrain, the plants, the trees, the animals, the caves down below, the alien languages, the ships, the weapon and suit upgrades, the stars...
Just looks like the most amazing video game ever.
@CatBoy1235
It's been extremely hyped since it was announced in 2013, so I suspect it's going to make huge sales no matter what.
@NoiseMaster
I'm trying not to imagine it ending up not being what I expect it to be. |

Even some of the soundtrack is supposedly procedurally generated.

Your reaction saddens me. I really enjoy telling people about this game and watching their minds be blown. Perhaps you should go watch some videos about it. |

@DapperNarwhal
Ah, yes, that too.
One little mess up in the math code and everything messes up. No wonder it took them so long, lol. |

I honestly can't wait for that game. I heard it would take a lifetime to discover every planet.

I'm used to being told that, it's all anyone ever says to me with my negative attitude. Thanks for reminding me of what I am, it's quite sad, isn't it?

Yes, yes it does.
@IhateMcCramer
Whoops...?
@TheOneBaller & Tetteroo
"it would take roughly five billion years to visit each planet for one second."
So yeah, most planets will never be discovered.
@AcidCortex
Well I guess some people out there don't watch E3. You really should research it. It will most definitely blow your mind.
@Hime_Arikawa
Videos and livestreams are always a good substitute.

Mm, that's something you should try getting out of as soon as possible. It's important to be happy, and to try and make others happy. |

I'd talk more about this but it's past 5 AM and I need to sleep.

The game can't just be about exploring planets
There must be more or something |

There is. Space exploration is only the tip of the iceberg. You could be a space pirate, a peaceful trader, a member of a faction's military, a miner, etc. etc. etc. Space exploration is publicized more than anything else though.
