Hi, I'm your new adviser, ██████. I have been hired by ██████████████████, ████████████ to help fix your HUNK OF JUNK that you call a business!
Yeah, so the other Monster Hunting Food Tycoon you did kinda got nuked by the Canadian government because apparently, they had laws protecting the monsters within that area that you were hunting, even though that area wasn't in Canada. Ironically, the nuclear weapon, in the process of destroying your restaurant, also destroyed the monsters, sooo....
So, you moved! You lost your entire staff in the nuclear fallout (if not the detonation), however, you were just reaching level 10 and going out to do [REDACTED] when the nuclear detonation happened, so yaaaaaaaayyyy!
You moved your restaurant to an old, abandoned island known as "Witch's Isle", chock-full with base-level monsters which scared off the previous inhabitants of the island. Either that or murdered them, no one knows.
"Good luck getting people to THAT abandoned hunk of wood and metal!", your competitors say. Yeahhhhh...
[ADVANCED ACTIONS]
STOCK MARKET - Let's drop this until you're level 10. Don't want to get eaten by the Stock Broker Vampires yet!
FRANCHISING - Watch out for franchised competitors. Let's leave this at LEAST until your restaurant is level 8.
RETREEEEEEEEAT!!!! NO, IT'S TACTICAL! - Sell your restaurant and have
[OTHER ADVANCED ACTIONS TO BE ADDED LATER]
Otherwise, you can do whatever you want, within the laws of the current Earthly physics that you follow. Good luck!!!!

I'm really not keen on the idea of a nuke being launched by Canada to destroy a restaurant. I mean, I understand nonsensical humor, but here it's not called for nor very humorous. I also cringe in pain at the idea of a bunch of sweet lolis being killed.
I'll go with it if you're not willing to change it, but I'm not overly happy about the starting point of this. |

Alright.
You got shut down by the USDA and the FBI for having loli's and for selling monster meat, despite you're not in the U.S.
Better?

Um... I actually don't like the idea of it being set in the real world. Or it having a connection to the previous RP. I'm sorry if I'm being picky. |

(Well, I'm feeling a bit discouraged about the quality of this RP already. I hope you'll be able to calm my qualms though.)
I must've suffered some sort of short-term amnesia; I have no clue what I'm doing here. An island of monsters and a restaurant owned by me that sells the meat of those monsters. Those are the only details I'm aware of.
Customers? Do I have any of those? Workers? What kind of workers do I have? What are they like? What do they do? What about shareholders? Have I pawned out my equity and independence yet? Yes, no, maybe so. I don't know the answers to any of these questions with any level of certainty.
So, I should get along on the quest to find those answers. I think that quest begins with my entering of my restaurant. Open the front door and open the book of Revelations. I take a brief moment to look over and examine the building that is my restaurant. And then, soon after, I step inside. |

It's a...
Work in progress, eh?
The booths are ripped and torn in places and it's rather drafty. It's built like a shack, with quite visible wooden planks making the base of the building. There's a counter with a register, and a back with an at least sanitary kitchen. Some of the tile panels are busted off in the kitchen, and the cooking tools/devices aren't in the best quality, either. But, you know, you're the one who didn't want to take out any loans, so...
This is YOURS, I guess.
There are no workers. Just you.
You figure tourism and gimmicks are the best way to get people to this island and, more importantly, your restaurant.

I suppose I should try to fix this place up. Um. I don't think I have quite the right tools and materials to do that. Maybe I could try to pass this disrepair off as being part of a rustic theme. No, I don't think anyone would buy that. I don't want a rustic theme either.
Maybe I should go out to the mainland and try to find people willing to help me fix this place up. I don't really have the money to pay any employees though. Maybe I could offer to just pay people with experience? Could I do that? I don't know if it'd really work. I don't know much of anything right now.
What I do know is that it'll be difficult to convince people to come to this island, and even more difficult to convince them to walk in though that door. It's absolutely compulsory that I fix this place up, and I can't do it alone.
I have no choice then. I'll need to go get at least one employee who has some knowledge in work like this and have them help me fix up the place. We'll see. I head out of the restaurant and try to find the boat I must've taken to get to this island. |

When on the mainland, you notice a long, winding road. Taking the road, as to either side of you is deadly bog, you are led to the grand city of Teirm, a bustling trade center. In the market, you notice one of the tradesmen - a burly looking woman? - allowing people to browse her wares and request her duties as a master craftsman, blacksmith, and general fixer-upper.
She has a multi-purpose Shadow Tool at her hip, which is now in dagger form.
You wonder how much it costs to hire her.
Other than that, you see less impressive-looking people selling their wares as well, and stop buy a restaurant in town due to your hunger. You take some thoughtful notes.
You realize that you had a pouch of 1000 Credits, a fairly good chunk of money (similar to 4000 U.S. dollars). You had paid the people in the restaurant only with spare change, but this was actually serious money.
You have a few options,
go back to the restaurant, go to the market and hire services/buy materials to do it on your own, or perhaps even kidnap someone and make them do it for you. The limits are quite endless.

The burly looking woman certainly isn't the kind of employee I want representing my restaurant. Of course, she won't be an employee. She'd just be offering her services to me as a one-time deal. That's fine. But should I hire her or do it all by myself?
It's an important question. If I do it by myself, I get the added benefit of gaining experience in the job. Then again, I might be doing shoddy work like that. Plus, will I really need to renovate the building often enough to warrant a want for experience?
No, I wouldn't say so. It's a trade-off anyway. I need the building renovated nicely, properly, and expediently. Getting that craftswoman to help would be the best course of action.
"Excuse me, how much would it cost to get you to fix up my restaurant?" I ask, approaching the woman. |

"Upwards of 500 credits," she'd respond.
"Name's Katrina."
She had a thick and heavy Russian accent, which sounded like trudging through peanut butter. It was pleasant, but odd.

As it so happens, I do have upwards of 500 credits. Hopefully it won't be very much more than 500 credits. I'm sure I can earn the money back rather quickly though. "Well, my restaurant is on Witch's Isle. Could you head over there with me and tell me how much it'd cost to fix up?" |

She'd twist her face, and take her dagger from her hip. It was beautifully black, the most pure black that you'd ever seen.
You think it must be worth millions of credits.
She clicks a button, and the dagger somehow changes into a full-on great-sword. You notice that she coats the shadowy blade of the great-sword with something green before she sheathes it.
"Alright, let's go."

| I nod and walk out of the city, down the path, to my boat. Hopefully it'll be enough to support the weight of both me and this woman. I get into the boat and bring myself and the woman to my restaurant on Witch's Isle. |

She brings two oars and you get there at record speed due to her MUSCLE POWERRRRR!!!!!!
Anyhow, you get there and she surveys the building.
"That's... that's going to be at least one-thousand credits. But remember, it's worth it.
I always do my finest."

But that's all I have. I think I'm more willing to do this work on my own than go bankrupt for who knows how long? Having a dusty and empty wallet is worse than having a dusty and empty building. "No deal. Come on, I'll take you back to the city," I say, getting back in my boat. |

You have a few options upon going into town for materials. The prices are based upon how much you need to redo the place.

TOOLS - 100 Credits
STONE - 200 Credits
ROOFING - 50 Credits
PROPER KITCHEN - 50 Credits
MISCELLANEOUS PRETTINESS - 300 Credits
You can also get a upgrade for your Proper Kitchen, if you wish to buy it, for 250 credits. |

(With these material prices, that poor woman's gonna starve to death since she doesn't know how to factor in the cost of labor to her service.)
I'll certainly need the tools to do... well, anything. That's not something I can skimp out on. The wood I'll need as well. I don't like any kind of rustic feeling, but I do like the earthly homeyness that comes with wood. So with that being the case, I won't need the stone. Roofing materials are certainly important, as is a proper kitchen. Miscellaneous prettiness can wait.
CART: Wood Tools Roofing Proper Kitchen
With my items bought, I head back out into the city. I'm sure I can certainly do this all by myself, but a bit of charitable help would be appreciated. I look around to see if there's anyone who may be willing to help out just from the kindness of their heart. Maybe a sweet young girl or something. |

In her hand is a hammer, in her pocket is nails.

(it's okay you're a good girl)
How cute! It's a bit weird to see such a sweet girl with a hammer and nails in her pocket though. Maybe that means she knows something about construction/renovation. "Um, excuse me, would you be willing to help me fix up my restaurant?" |

She jumps up, accidentally hitting her shoulder on something (you hear the thump), and screams:
"YEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!"
She must be REALLY bored.
But wouldn't you be, sitting on the docks all the time?
