yes i know we are pushing for the regular "stop people from eating unhealthy stuff/exercise more" method
but i just want to know if there are any other possible ways of solving the obesity epidemic? like one dude in c&g said "sterilization and eugenics" which is obviously extremely controversial

@swaggy
yeah obviously but it's not working the message to live a healthier life style is spreading more, and gym subscriptions are rising but it's getting worse also i heard stuff like michelle obama's campaign was good until it teamed up with companies like coca-cola. is that true?

Coca Cola is really bad for you. It destroys your teeth and makes you gain weight.
You should only drink water.
And only have 3 meals a day.
And don't snack in between meals. |

@swaggy
yeah you're right but of course fast food and soft drink companies are going to intervene in this.
i watched a documentary about how a scientist was payed by coca-cola to say that soft drinks don't affect weight when it obviously does.
also, if there was some sort of agenda to put an end to these types of companies, wouldn't there be horrible economic consequences?

The thing is, fat people spread their fat disease by telling their sons and daughters to be fat as well. So I just say eliminate them from the fa- *gets blown up by mad people*

btw when i mentioned the documentary, it wasn't just about the scientist getting payed by coca-cola. it mentioned several things like your body, fast food companies involvement in this issue, how exercise is healthy but won't help you lose weight as much as your calorie intake will, etc.

Coca Cola doesn't make you fat. It contains calories. Eating an excess of calories makes you gain weight. Over time if you are consantly eating an excess of calories you become fat.
Most people living a sedentary lifestyle (one with minimal exercise) need 2000 - 2500 calories per day to maintain their weight. Any less and you lose weight. Any more and you gain weight.
Coca Cola has calories in it but water does not. In order to be healthy, you should be getting your calories from nutrient rich foods following the USDA guidelines.
Most people don't exercise enough for it to effect their weight so they need to restrict their calories to maintain their weight or they are going to become over weight. |

i heard a common argument is how affordable fast food is. so poorer families would go for the hamburgers rather than the salads and stuff, but in the documentary it showed how it's cheaper to eat healthy.

| I don't think we have enough of the recommended foods in the USA for everyone to follow the USDA guidelines. So someone is going to have to eat the junk. Fast food has a lot of calories but it does not have many nutrients required for health. You can be over-weight and still malnourished. Having some fast food from time to time is not going to make you unhealthy but if you survive on fast food you are going to run into health problems. |
