EVEN IF THE HUMANS MADE SOME THING THAT CAN DEFINITELY NOT GO WRONG
IT WILL STILL HAVE POSSIBILITIES TO GO WRONG

Linux is more vulnerable. But less viruses so yeah.
I don't have an anti-malware. I've been downloading stuff from the internet all the time.
Still didn't get a virus, or joined a bot net. |

Open source literally means it's the least vulnerable |

*Facepalm*
How...
Most virus designers look in the code to find exploits. It removes one key step in designing a virus; Find an exploit in the OS to get in the host machine.
==For the newbs: == And this also depends on the OS. Linux is JUST a kernel. The Linux distrubs. are the OSes. Example: Redhat, Ubuntu, Arc, Trisquel, and many more.
And yes, you can design your own OS using the kernel. |

And then the second a vulnerability is found it can be fixed and patched immediately :3c *Facepalm* XDDD |

"And then the second a vulnerability is found it can be fixed and patched immediately" well, first you need to figure out how to solve the problem also, linux is okay, but doesn't appeal to the general public a majority of people are too stupid to use it, and are too used to os x and windows to change to it

"patched immediately"
Heh.
Some exploits aren't patched immediately. Some of them aren't found that easily.
Example, Zero day. It's hard to explain. Look it up.
And if you think I don't use an open source OS. I do. I use Ubuntu 15.10 via Virtual Machine. |

I installed AVG just to be safe since I got paranoid when I saw a youtube video on dangerous computer viruses

I'm also watching the development of Ubuntu in Github. Some bugs take 2 weeks to patch.
Think about this if this bug was an exploit to gain root(Administrator in Linux and Unix) Hackers have basically 2 weeks up to hack everyone they want.
(I have my large Linux book here :D) |

Using ubuntu is for babies, and on a virtual machine is for super babies
You literally know nothing about linux tbh

Except with real linux distros which update daily |

I've installed Fedora on my other PC. It can't boot using hard disk though. Only CD.(Basically, Try _____ mode)
You know... I should try dual booting. Trisquel and Windows. Imma go now then.
Why is it for babies? It's just an OS...
