Glad I'm not the only one, it's REALLY weird
I wonder what causes it?
Or feeling as if you are actually sleeping in a different location, like the sofa in the living room instead of in your bed |

I get it sometimes, especially when it's quiet while I'm sleepy. To me, it's les like a roller coaster ride, and more like just idly floating there.
I enjoy it, kind of. |

"i just thought it was vertigo"
if he has vertigo regularly then it would be a much more serious case |

"sinii im pretty sure thats the thing that happens when you're falling asleep and you twitch suddenly
what im talking about is that i can just close my eyes and lie down and i feel like im being shaken violently or im spinning around and it feels nice"
these are the same thing pretty much though the first thing you described is specifically a hypnic jerk which is one symptom of the seizure how you are describing it is other symptoms |

you probably dont have vertigo most vertigo comes from physical effects on your bodies like drugs or even injuries sometimes it comes from motion sickness meanwhile hypnic seizures just happen to everyone and at worst its probably a sign of not good sleeping schedule |

there are all kinds of seizures a seizure is just a sudden surge of electrical pulses in the brain depending on where in the brain it happens and how exactly the surges are determines the type of seizure and the symptoms there are actually other things you might have experienced and didnt know it was a seizure ever experienced deja vu? thats actually a seizure of the temporal lobe
@charade

A seizure isn't always characterized by uncontrollable bodily motion. All that characterizes a seizure is a surge of electrical activity in the brain.
They can effect you on a range, from barely being noticable(oh, I feel like I'm floating) to suddenly jerking around. It's a matter of severity and how your brain is affected.
Minor seizures aren't uncommon at all. In fact, you may even experience them multiple times a day without any documented epilepsy or other disease. It's major seizures that are a concern. |
