3: Eiffel 65 - I'm Blue Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQlZweKNBjo
What does it mean when you are blue? Where has everything gone that is not blue? One man's journey through his blue world leads him to discoveries of not only his world, but of himself.
Those clever people in the readerbase might see in the music video that it is not, in fact, just the main character (MC) who is the blue one. Everyone seems to have some of that blue tinge going on for them, and in the most extreme cases look exactly the same as the MC. Perhaps our personal problems are not as special as they might seem.
2: Lonely Island - Like a Boss Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NisCkxU544c
Perhaps this one is best left for those who like to read between the lines. Here we see a self-proclaimed "boss" telling us about his day-to-day life as a boss. What you might notice, however, is the lack of certain necessities that every person desires for a long and healthy life. Sure, Mr. Boss does paperwork and promotes synergy, but what of his out-of-work life? What does he do for fun? Mr. Boss seems to have acquired his grandiose nature by throwing away what really matters in life.
A testament to the working class.
1: Red Army Choir - Echelon's Song Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuysoNnRiwk
We are who we meet. Every one of us has some shard of past friends and colleagues burned in our being. Every event in our lives makes us who we are. This is accentuated in the bonds we share as brothers in arms for a common cause. Here we see recounts of the lives of a band of comrades who, as though sitting around a campfire telling stories of past trials, sing of their struggles and victories in unison. The tempo picks up, and we are thrown into the combat beside them. Not in tormented schadenfreude, however, but in courageous virtue for the causes we fight for.
Then we rest, time goes by, and we are left both regretting the past and thanking time itself for making us who we are. |

He's the guy who wrote the Lord of the Rigs book. You should expect this from him.
