Iceland beat England in the round of 16, now France are ahead 4-0 against Iceland after 45 minutes.
England's national team is a joke, almost as big of a joke as the UK. |

| They're current football team has many talented players but they were not used by Hodgson, but thank god he's gone. The biggest mistake he made was to pick an unfit Wilshere instead of an in-form Danny Drinkwater. |

| The team lacks a star, they literally have no 'star' besides the potential one-season-wonder Jamie Vardy (not to accredit him, he's an amazing player), who additionally has to sit and observe the torture from the bench. |

| Jack Wheelchair played well for England, what's really questionable was picking up Jordan Henderson, who's essentially just a crap Michael Carrick. |

They shouldn't pick up any Liverpool players at all, not even Clyne.
They should just go straight for Southampton, similar to what Liverpool does tbh. The difference is, Liverpool won't have had their hand on them and ruined them.
You could argue they shouldn't even bring ex-Liverpool players, such as Sterling. |

"Jack Wheelchair played well for England, what's really questionable was picking up Jordan Henderson, who's essentially just a crap Michael Carrick." My god, you are saying Wilshere played well? God Bless...He hasn't showed up for a game since 2013, he should never have been chosen ahead of Drinkwater. It's ridiculous to choose a guy who player 141 minutes of professional football for 12 months, and during his injury span he probably smoked hella lot. |

Wilshere played better than half the England team at the Euros.
Him being injured the entire season, having barely played, only supports the argument that England is crap. |

Name me 4 people besides Sterling that played better than Wilshere. You are seriously high if you think Wilsher played better than half the English team at the Euros. |

No it does not. It supports th argument that Hodgson was a bad manager that never made the right decisions. |

This would imply that Wilshere was a top 5 player for England at the Euros. You must mean 'worse', instead of 'better' (first time saying 'better', that is)?
Ok, 4 people that played worse, the entire strikeforce besides Vardy and Rashford, the entire midfield besides Rooney (arguably Alli), the entire defense apart from Walker and Rose (arguably Smalling).
That's a total of 5 players, 7 if you count the ones I doubt. Wilshere played well in comparison to his countrymen. |

Who did he have to choose from?
He could literally only have picked Drinkwater over him.
Yes, he should have picked Drinkwater over both Wilshere and Henderson, but he didn't. Doesn't change the fact that the entire England team made a horrendous performance. |

| How did Rooney play bad? His only negative game was Iceland, other than that he shined in the midfield, he created the chances and controlled the games. Alli was rusty but still fared better than an unfir Wilshere. Smalling and Wilshere cannot be compared as they play totally different roles, Smalling is defensive and Wilshere is offensive. |

| Lallana did well too, if you saw the games during the group stages, he was one of the best mids from their side. |

He played right wing or something, he couldn't finish any of the chances he got.
He may have played well, but he shouldn't have been deployed as a right wing to justify deploying Sterling as a left wing. |
