of course gorilla warfare
and in the scenario of an american revolution, rolling thunder/body count warfare/agent orange wouldn't be an option lol |

A revolution will NEVER happen again on American soil thanks to the Second Amendment. Consider it a deterrent. The U.S. government is aware that the moment a revolution occurs, it is completely done for. At least half of the military would go rogue, electrical grids would be taken offline, all major cities would be in COMPLETE chaos, and government buildings would be ransacked.
It has been CONSISTENTLY shown throughout history that a well-equipped fighting force can manage to take on a global superpower using guerrilla tactics. Reference the Soviet war in Afghanistan, and the US campaigns in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
That's the beauty of the Second Amendment.

if a government was corrupt enough to attack it's own citizens, they wont have any problem bombing cities
vietnam is a jungle, the south of america is mostly flat and dry so guerilla doesnt work so well

op draws the parallel between a conflict in a territory unknown to the us military situated thousands of miles away against a formidable military backed by the ussr in weaponry and china in manpower with a hypothetical us revolt against the most powerful military in the world and a government well aware of your google search history
well done |
