Firstly, we don't watch "Cartoons" we watch anime. Secondly, a good few to start with would be Naruto, One Peice, and Bleach, as they are all mainstream, have fully dubbed episodes (Subbed is better though), great plots and character development, etc.
For Bleach / Naruto, I would watch on Hulu, seeing how they have 100% of episodes, a perfect subbed version, and few commercials. One Piece is also available on hulu, but the dubbed only has 20 or so episodes, and are non-linear.
For a dubbed One Piece, try Funimation or Crunchyroll.
Please note, subbed will be 100x better then any english dubbed version. therefor, if you take my advice seriously, just use hulu.
