I have been getting error codes whenever I attempt to join a game. This isn't one of the failed ID ones, or shutdown. More during the loading tiny screen of a game. The one that reads "configuring ROBLOX", or "Starting ROBLOX". A message will appear and say error, similar to the crash one. This isn't the only way, however. Sometimes it will not even start and it'll look as if it is loading and be that way for up to 10 minutes then error message. Any ideas as to why this might happen or how to fix it? Thanks. |

Hi.
-This error can occur if you change files in Roblox folder (AKA Textures, ETC) and if you update your computer with unsupported hardware, that Roblox does not support. (This happens VERY rarely)If you updated your PC with a new graphics card, or added something else, try to remove it and than start Roblox again. If it starts, you will know which part makes the problem.
-ALSO, this problem may be caused by your internet/ISP. Check if your firewall allows your computer to communicate with Roblox servers. You can also check if an antivirus, which is managing the firewall, blocks the connection.
-And please note... Your PC must have enough memory (On hard drive) to run Roblox. If your disk is full, Roblox does not have space to download required assets, and it crashes because it cant load up the game properly. Also, your PC must have enough power to run the game. If your PC does not have enough RAM/Video RAM/Hard disk space, Roblox can LAG and even fail start!
Hope this helped. :-) (Please replay to this post if you found out what was the problem, thanks!) |
