-Signatures must be 4 lines or less. The mods have said that even if you have a picture in your signature that contains the text, rather than actual lines of typing, the four lines limit still holds.
-You cannot name or tell how to access any sites not allowed for in the Official Rules (it states no links). This means: *putting spaces in the URL *using words instead of a URL (www dot warriorcats dot com) *saying .com, .net, etc on the end of a site's name *telling people something like "Google this and it'll be the first result" *saying the name (i.e. ROBLOX Off Topic) even without a link *describing the site (i.e. the blocky site)
-"Necroposting" (posting on old threads) is not allowed. The basic guideline is that a thread is dead after a month. However, if you manage to bring back actual discussion, it's okay.
-Even if you created an individual piece, it only counts as yours if the base of it is yours. This is a difficult rule to word concisely, but it's basically an expansion of the rule "you can only post things you created." For example, a Cat Creator game online might you to color the cat however you want, but you didn't create the lineart yourself (maybe you customized it, but you didn't make the whole thing), so it's not allowed. Similarly, you may not post pictures of a Minecraft reskin/mod, etc., even if you designed the mod, because you did not create Minecraft.
-Only English is allowed on the Forums. You may no longer use any of another language even if translation is immediately provided. The mods don't have time to translate everything they find, especially as internet translators aren't exactly reliable.
-Harm to a person or oneself is against the rules and considered an adult topic.
-Discussion about a mod-related action is not allowed. Meaning the mods can't tell you on the forums why a thread was deleted or someone was banned/suspended. You can email about your own threads/accounts, but that's it.
-"L2D" threads are considered spam/karma threads.
-You can't discuss Hetalia, Attack on Titan, or Assassination Classroom on the forums. All three have MA15+ rating (R if you're American), so yeah.
-Any RPs based on R-rated material are not allowed on the Forums, even if they are completely appropriate. Mods' guidelines are basically that if it's not in a Disney movie, it's not allowed on the forums.
-No Alts - One Account per Individual Creating an alt will result in both the original account and the alt being permanently banned immediately. Sharing accounts among a group of people is also forbidden. If your sibling / roommate / friend wishes to post on the boards, they must make their own account and contact us to avoid alt bannings.
-Do Not Post Things For Banned Members / Report known alts Once they are banned, they are done with this site. If it is discovered that you know of another member's alternate identity and do not report it, or discover it and try to "hide" it from moderators, you will receive an automatic temporary ban from the site. Banned members are gone for a reason, assisting them in getting back on the site/forums makes you just as guilty.
-Talking about a Zombie Apocalypse is against the rules. Zombies are pretty gross and scare a lot of people, and in late 2012 that was basically all people talked about.
-Discussion of firearms is not allowed, even if it stays away from religion, politics, and adult topics.
-Hospital RPs are not allowed on the Forums as they contain adult topics.
-Images may not include watermarks from other sites, or watermarks which contain anything other than your username.
-No over-the-top blood (in art, writing, or roleplay), and no gore at all.
-If you post a drawing that has at least a drop of blood in it, there needs to be a blood warning in either the title or the top of the post.
-GUIs may not contain flashing colors.
-Art ownership: You may not post something from another site even if you give credit or have permission. Credit only counts if it was given on ROLBOX themselves. Most likely so the mods have proof there was actually credit given.
-Do not post links that will lead to a screamer.
-Sharing accounts is not permitted. For multiple reasons. It could be used to bypass a ban, or someone could claim an instance of rulebreaking was by another person on the account and therefore the account shouldn't be suspended so they could still use it.
-Age no longer allowed to be shared. It now falls under the "no personal information" rule. Birthdays (month and day only) are fine, though.
-Mini-mods (aka "junior mods") are not allowed on the Forums. It's okay to tell someone they're breaking a rule if you see it, but don't make it a habit; if it doesn't seem like a genuine mistake, just report and move on.
-No "feeding the trolls" (talking about trolls) or discussing banned or outlawed members in general. This includes trolls who have long since gone.
-Do not report a thread more than once. Even if it's been several days. Trust me on this one.
-No photos of people. Things like a hand holding a pet are sometimes acceptable; it's not completely consistent. However, it is consistent that no picture showing a face, silhouette, etc. is ever allowed.
-Thread-advertising threads are not allowed. This includes things like forum libraries. It's okay to have a section in a larger topic devoted to this (such as having a "Previously Submitted" with links to all fanfictions that have been rated on a fanfiction rating thread), but advertising the threads cannot be the main focus.
-Joke War Clans and Joke Fashion Groups are not allowed.
-You may not discuss Skype or similar things.
-Sedation/Seduction is not allowed.
-You may not discuss Five Nites at Freddy's. M-rated game, so yeah.
-Weapons in art in and of themselves are not forbidden, but contextually they may not be allowed. Merzi's explanation: "It might be that a message or thread is pulled due to the text, not the weapon. It could be that holding a knife is okay, but the knife stabbed into someone's chest is going to be pulled. A gun being held at the side is not the same as a gun pointed at someone'e head." She also notes that this is a subjective area of moderating, as there is no cut-and-dry way to say what crosses the line, but it should be relatively clear what is and is not acceptable.
-The fade-in effect on gifs is not allowed. Animated gifs are not banned altogether, but they may not contain the fade effect (in which the image slowly appears/disappears).
-Assassination is an adult topic.
-Petitions must not cross over into rant territory; it is very easy for them to do so.
-No force mating. This term applies both to the adult topic it implies AND to instances of arranged marriages (or romantic pairings in general) in which the characters being married do not have the final say over whether it happens.
-Mention, discussion, or revival of the infamous hacker Dominustrex is forbidden. Even saying the name is technically forbidden…also, make sure you don't make a username whose name sounds too much like this, since that'll look suspicious even if it isn't actually related at all.
-Kit-stealing is not forbidden EXCEPT if the Clan being stolen from forbids it in their rules. I assume saving is allowed as well, but anything besides those two is a form of spam. (There are many variants, such as styling, jeweling, washing, hugging, haunting, steaking, baconing…but only saving and stealing lend themselves to any sort of plot.)
-War Clans (and other pages) may create their own rule list, but they may not break any Official (or these) Rules. Essentially, you can outline the specific parameters of the roleplay/etc. rules (for example, "your character can't have a crush on someone else's character unless the other rper is okay with it"), but those rules do not overwrite the real ones, which must be followed at all times.
-You cannot order someone to leave the thread. You can ask politely for someone to stop posting, but no one other than a mod has the authority to kick someone off a thread, even if it is in the thread rules to leave if a specific rule is broken (i.e. if someone is godmodding, you cannot ban them from the roleplay).
-No religions, even joke religions, are allowed.
-If you list members of the forums, you may not include any subjective information, even compliments. This rule holds true even if all of the subjective information is positive ("they're really nice and always ready to chat"), people can choose what is said about themselves, and the list is inclusive to anyone who wants to join. Essentially, you may not list members with compliments by the names; any lists must be 100% objective.
-No politics.
-If a person has a whole chain of spam/posts that break rules, just report one of them and inform the mods to also look at the other posts on that thread/in their recent posts. Applies to spam spanning multiple threads.
-"Joke threads" (I.e, threads about fake "news" about certain stuff) are not allowed and will be deleted. .
-Intentionally scary stories such as creepypastas are not allowed.
-Very heavily scripted games are not allowed. If there is too much scripting on a thread, it will load very slowly (and, on phones and bad connections, possibly not at all).
-Mythologies that are from the real world (i.e. Norse mythology, Greek mythology) count as religion.
ALSO Trigger Warning Rule: The mods' response to questions about trigger warnings is basically that if it requires a warning, we probably shouldn't talk about it here. Due to the sheer number of things that can be triggering to different people, this isn't always necessarily true, since it can be difficult to know sometimes if something you're posting that seems harmless actually needs a warning. So: rule? Respect people. The end. To anyone who hasn't heard of them, trigger warnings are the same concept as putting "blood warning" in the Art Forum; basically just a term for the number of different warnings people could need. "Trigger" itself refers to things related to past trauma, but similar warnings can be necessary for non-trauma-related things. If you post a trigger warning (also shortened to tw) it's best if you also mention what the warning is for. People also use phrases like "content note" to mean the same thing, but "trigger warning" is the most common. . |

| If all of this was legit, they would have put it in the actual rules. And if this is true, sorry guys but roleplay is dead. |

| Psssh, doesn't matter if it's true or not. It's not like the modbots are going to enforce any rules around here without a minimod ordering them around. |
