| If it's censored, then it's good by radio standards. I mean, the stuff on 98.5 Cleveland's Classic Rock is appropriate for radio listening, even if it can get suggestive. |

| Well, same thing with "Work From Home" by Fith Harmony. I mean, come on! Its REALLY obvious about what that song is about. And did they forget half of their listeners before they changed were 5 to 13 years olds? And on Ellen there was a little kid singing Cake by the Ocean and i was like "...No" I think he was atleast 4 or 5 |

| I think most kids don't even care about the message of a song or the lyrics in general. Kids like catchy songs that are easy to sing along, even if they don't know the meaning of what they sing. That also applies to a lot of people who aren't kids. |

because e"cake by the ocean" in the heads of most kids probably means someone had a birthday party on the beach

| A kid singing Cake by the Ocean is like a 4 year old singing Aenema by Tool. Jesus, how'd they put THAT on a radio station? |

I really don't see what the big deal is. A kid isn't going to hear Cake by the Ocean and immediately know what it means. Even if someone tells them, they're not going to know what the action itself is, just that it's a metaphor for the action. Plus I don't get what the big deal is about kids knowing about s..3.x anyways. They're learning about it younger and younger, and it's a basic part of human life.

It's not a bad word, it's just creepy if children do that stuff.

@Football Well, even if it is a different genre, meanings can differ between any genre. For example, 4 degrees by Tool also talks about s..3...x, but it hides its meaning, much like Cake. Also, I think you should be here instead of Ro-Sports, because I don't think you're quite safe in Ro-Sports, plus you're here with me. |

its not really that creepy they're just repeating what they hear children are very much monkey-see, monkey-do creatures. they imitate what they perceive

There are a ton of songs like this on the radio, Cake by the Ocean is only one example. Honestly Cake by the Ocean is one of the less obvious ones in recent memory, there have been many other songs over the last five years that have more directly suggested inappropriate content.
I know it's cheesy, but I feel grate |

There's much more obvious songs such as that Worth It song, singing lines such "in the club with all the lights off" and repeating "give it to me I'm worth it" many times throughout the chorus. Form the minimal radio I had to listen to throughout middle school, I heard that song play a lot, and apparently they have some new song called "Work From".
