Ever wanted to be paid to be part of a collaborative team? Roslide is my newly founded Roblox group of which I am the CEO. The group is here: https://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=2862180

What are the benefits of working at Roslide?
In addition to full, free access to all of our games, employee groups get royalties of 5% of the group's income. 5%! If our first game was a success and got us $100,000 Robux, you can get $5,000, plus in-game credits, plus free access to the game! Most groups will pay you a fixed income, but we believe that employees should be paid more directly from doing a better job. Roslide also creates an enjoyable work environment for all workers.

What tasks would I be performing as a Developer?
Currently, the primary tasks for a developer include making our base advanced, in-house RPG system, and making the online play work well. We need 10 developers, and a development director.

What tasks would I be performing as an Artist?
Currently, the primary tasks for an artist include building our vast worlds, and designing our polished user interfaces. We need 5 artists and an art director.

What tasks would I be performing as a Designer?
Currently, the primary tasks for a designer include balancing our gameplay, working with me to design our in-game content, and making sure every moment is engaging. We need 3 designers and a design director.

What tasks would I be performing as a Sound Designer?
Currently, the primary tasks for a sound designer include creating the music to suit the moods, and creating the convincing sound effects. We need 2 sound designers and a sound design director.

What tasks would I be performing as a Director?
The Directors have the toughest job, but are rewarded the most. The directors earn 35% of the income! Each department has a Director, whose job it is to make sure our projects are made correctly. I will assign projects to the directors, who will then divvy up the project into smaller bits for their workers. They create deadlines and make sure their department runs smoothly. We need a Director for each department.

How do I become a Director?
If you, as an employee, have proven a high level of organizational skills, stood out in group projects, and have displayed a general capability, PM me with your entry to the contest currently in the description for your department.

How can I apply?
You can view the details here: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=191985722

What types of projects are we working on?
Our current projects are as follows, in order of time we work on it:
Across-An MMORPG with constantly engaging quests.
Hueso-A dungeon crawler with new dungeons every week.
Violence & Deadwood-A western-themed MMO with social interaction and a variety of activities.

Thank you for your interest in Roslide. As soon as we are well-staffed, we will get to work creating well-polished, engaging ROBLOX games for all to enjoy.

For the amount of employees we will have, 5% is a pretty good deal. Imagine if the employees at EA earned 5% of the profits. They would be so rich!

If they made the entire game, I'd gladly give them 100%. Because all of the employees and I will work together, we need to divvy up the cash.

10 developers? What is the benefit of that? Too many cooks in the kitchen.

The number isn't 100% settled yet; we may get more or less. Our games are very script-heavy, though, so it could lighten the load of the developers.

Some of these roles are completely useless to getting a game actually made and some of these roles require too many members. You could just get one person for sound two builders and a scripter to make a game. It might take a while but it's way easier, pay is better and they could probably end up making a game as good as a 20 person team.

Actually redid my math, previous post was assuming that there was 1 director and the rest were just normal members, 3 directors makes it so they get 105% of the cash. 35 X 3 = 105%
That's already messed up meaning that normal members wouldn't get anything.

"Most groups will pay you a fixed income, but we believe that employees should be paid more directly from doing a better job."

Really? And what if your group fails and makes no income, 5% of nothing is nothing.
There is a reason people get fixed income.

Your first game made 100,000 robux did it? Where is it, where can i see it.

Your marketing skills are ace, but i'm not falling for it.

@Draphant - Care to elaborate?
@YuukiKokoro - Thanks for the constructive criticism, however I feel a bigger team will help us get out better games faster. I do not require 10 developers; however, that is the maximum I will take. I'm sorry if I worded it weirdly.
@LittleBoyFreak, YuukiKokoro x2 - If you understood correctly, you would understand that the departments split.
@PrestigiousaLegend -1: The reason they get royalties is because their pay is expandable. The more work they do (e.g. the better the game does), the more they get paid.2: The 100,000R$ thing was an example.3: I see how it is.

But it's written that each department gets a director, 4 departments right? And then it's written "The directors earn 35% of the income! Each department has a Director, whose job it is to make sure our projects are made correctly." I don't know if I misunderstood but that means if you have 3 directors one of them doesn't receive anything and the third one gets less than the other 2 receiving 35%? It's easier to have them a fixed pay depending on how well the game is doing then just take the rest for the group and give some to yourself even though you didn't contribute apart from forming a team but sure.

If you're going to split it through departments, might as well go through the pain of making a group for each separate department to not go through the hassle of doing math to split money. It makes no sense how you split income.

Yes, I've done a significant amount for our first game, Across.
