Things you should be looking for when Creative Combat releases into closed alpha.
Don't know Creative Combat? Check it on my profile, heres a brief summary too :
Creative Combat is a combat-building game based on the Free to Play game on Steam, Robocraft. However, it isn't as based on the future and has many twists and new features that separate it. This game is going to be a collaboration with frriend and MunimR, as I am a terrible scripter.
Notes ===== -Same main menu setup as Robocraft -Most mechanics will carry through -Includes damage spread, mirror mode, CPU limit, etc. -Game is designed in a ROBLOX style, it's up to the player what kind of genre they want to roll out in! -Will be getting many updates
Mechanics ========= -Terrain destruction and destructible stuff -Surfaces play a big role in damage spread -Two new tools : Surface & Configure -Surface can change the surface of blocks, though many blocks are limited, and Hinge, Motor, and Universal don't exist. -Configure can put input delays into stuff, hotkeys, etc. -No speed limits, unlike Robocraft :)
Blocks ====== More tanky designs are possible with Surfaces instead of relying on weaker shapes, and many different block types exist, though there isn't any block tiers.
Weapons ======= Weapons do not automaticly look at the player's mouse and are not top mounted. Players must find a way around it with the new hardware or cope with a little inaccuracy.
Hardware ======== More stuff like rotors, pistons, pivots, cameras, etc.
Movement ======== The different between 'tiers' is a much bigger gap, though all of Robocraft's movement parts are planned, as well as a few naval parts for the maps.
Cosmetics ========= Much more different than Robocraft's list.
Post suggestions if you'd like. |
